Most people are well and truly in the era of wireless earphones or bluetooth headphones as our companions for on-the-go lifestyles, commuting and workouts. The noise cancelling angle has it’s pros and cons, it’ll be great for on a plane or in a noisy place. I couldn’t hear my daughter talking.. and would probably not be able to tell if a car was going to run me down when out walking! The tone is great and you do feel totally immersed in the music. So much better than my bluetooth speaker I often listen to when I am working. But if you need to more aware of the outside world switch to the Listening Mode feature, which allows some of the surrounding sound to be heard while wearing the earbuds.
