Ever wondered what the green-and-gold kangaroo logo on that bottle of skincare, jar of honey or luxurious candle you’ve picked up actually signifies? It’s the official Australian Made, Australian Grown logo, which means a product is certified as genuinely made or grown in Australia. With its three-month campaign launching in Singapore today, you’re about to see a lot more of the kangaroo around town! Here’s how to spot it, plus where to buy Australian products and brands in Singapore.
About the logo
The Australian Made, Australian Grown logo is Australia’s only country-of-origin certification trademark. Not every product that looks or sounds Aussie can carry it, as strict criteria apply. The green-and-gold kangaroo gives shoppers a clear way to recognise products that are genuinely Australian made. This helps them distinguish certified products from the wide range of Australian brands on the market.
And it’s already resonating with shoppers in Singapore. Research shows 94 percent believe products carrying the logo are genuinely Australian, while 94 percent have a positive first impression of the logo. Research also found that Singapore consumers are more likely to purchase products displaying the logo.
Australian made, Singaporean approved
Discerning shoppers know Australia – its products, quality and way of life. Australian Made is now inviting you to discover the range of Aussie products available and find out for yourself what sets them apart. The green-and-gold kangaroo confirms that a product is authentically Australian made; whether it earns approval is up to you.
Wondering where to buy Australian products in Singapore? There’s quite a range to explore, from skincare and wellness to food and drink, clothing, homewares and pet nutrition. Hop over to the “Australian Made, Singaporean Approved” website for a list of the recognised brands available here.

What do you hope shoppers think when they see the Australian Made logo on a product?
Singapore is a sophisticated market where consumers have enormous choice, but provenance, authenticity and quality still carry real weight. Our ambition is for the Australian Made logo to become instantly recognisable – a mark shoppers trust and proactively seek out because they associate it with genuine Aussie products.
Do you have any personal favourites among the Australian Made products available in Singapore?
There’s such a fantastic range that it’s hard to pick just a few favourites. From the brands and products featured in the “Australian Made, Singaporean Approved” campaign, honey and sun care would be at the top of my list, as they are products I personally use every day. There really is something for everyone though, so consumers can rest assured that there are plenty of wonderful Aussie products to discover, and I am sure many will find their own new favourite.
What’s next for the campaign?
The three-month brand awareness activation is an important starting point. We want to use it to build recognition, understand what resonates with Singapore consumers and create a strong foundation for doing more here. Our ambition is for this relationship to grow well beyond the campaign, with more opportunities to showcase Australian makers, products, and stories in Singapore.
