New Home & Property Guide to Launch in January 2016

We are pleased to announce we are launching a new Home & Property Guide in January 2016. This follows the success of our popular, annual Guide Series – Body & Mind Guide, Kids’ Guide and City Guide. The Home & Property Guide is the essential and comprehensive guide to making a home in Singapore, whether you’re a new arrival or a long-time resident.

Distribution: 20,000 copies will be available at retail outlets and distributed to movers and relocation companies, property agents, serviced apartments and schools as well as subscribers.  We will target new arrivals looking for a home to rent or buy as well as people looking to create the perfect home.

Expat Living 2015 survey results, are out now

In June 2015, Expat Living launched its annual survey to find out how readership is changing and uncover trends in the expat market to inform our publications.

Over 3,000 people responded to the survey and of these:

  • 74% female, 26% male
  • 68% expats, 32% locals
  • 89% of respondents are aged 25-54
  • 66% of expat respondents are parents
  • 48% of expat respondents earn more than $200K annually
  • 66% of expat respondents have a disposable income of over $5K per month
  • 75% of expat readers said they would purchase a product or service based on our recommendations
  • 86% of all respondents keep the magazine or clip out pages for reference

Expatliving.sg launches video content, and series with 1-Altitude

October 1 saw the launch of Expat Living’s official YouTube channel, and with it, the launch of a seven-part cooking series in collaboration with 1-Altitude, called ‘Chris’ Takeaway’. This food series focuses on allowing readers to bring the recipes from the highest al-fresco bar in the world, to life in their own kitchen, and is streamed on the website, social media and YouTube. The aim of Expat Living’s YouTube channel, was to enable content to be embedded into the website, to bring more innovative and engaging stories to our readers.

Expat Living Events gets a new look

Expat Living will be launching a fantastic, exciting new events programme come January 2016. Proud official media supporter to the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore Presented by SC Global

Expat Living is delighted to have been chosen as an official media supporter to the BNP Paribas Singapore Presented by SC Global, 25 October – 1 November 2015. This wonderful tennis tournament sees the likes of Maria Sharapova stop by Singapore to compete in this prestigious tournament. Only in its second year, the WTA Finals Singapore has already become one of the most exciting events in Singapore, and Expat Living is incredibly excited to be involved in such an event.
