28 July @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Every June, we host a photography masterclass to help our readers prepare for all the wonderful picture-taking they’ll be doing while on holidays. This year is, of course, a little different. But while we mightn’t be going away for a break, luckily for us the island we call home is very photogenic. There are so many beautiful and wonderful places to take snapshots in Singapore!
Our upcoming masterclass will feature Hart Tan of Tomato Photo. Hart has been in the business for many years and is known as one of the best portrait and family photographers in Singapore. He’ll teach you how to take landscape photos, explain all the settings in your phone, show you the apps to use for editing and give tips on how to get a fantastic shot with your iPhone.
Date: 28 July
Place: Zoom Online
Looking forward to seeing you online. (Be sure to have your phones ready!)
About the Photographer
Hart was born in Bintan Island in 1978 and spend his early childhood in a carefree environment of a small town called Tanjung Pinang. After spending 10 years in Sydney Australia, Hart and his wife decided to move back to Singapore, because he lost his younger brother to aplastic anemia to spend time with his sick mother who suffers from motor neuron disease. It was a very difficult year as Hart was expecting his first child while caring for his mothers and starting Tomato Photo to support his little family. Hart learned that HOPE is the beginning of Happiness and that is why he kept doing what he is doing. Being a successful entrepreneur of multiple businesses, doing family photography personally is purely passion. He loves to see family find happiness through photography. Hart always finds more fun ways to make the experience of having family pictures preserved easier and relaxing.
