5 Most Common Sports Injuries (especially seen in lockdown!)
24 September @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
While it’s hard to find too many silver linings to the pandemic, more people have at least been finding time to schedule sport and fitness into their daily routines – including, for some, new activities they’ve never done before. Perhaps you’ve taken up running, cycling or tennis, for example; others may have started weight training, martial arts or yoga. Yet even the most gentle of exercises can cause injury. Dr Alan Cheung, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, has seen a steady flow of injured amateur sportspeople – adults and kids alike – seeking his advice, including many new patients since the start of the pandemic.
In this talk, Dr Alan will provide insight into the 5 most common injuries, what the treatment for them is and, most importantly, how to avoid them!
