Sarah on developing holistic education in the Senior School…
“Having visited Singapore a number of times, and with our children now grown up, my husband and I have taken the plunge and moved from London. We feel incredibly lucky to be working at NLCS (Singapore) and are loving life in the vibrant, diverse and exciting city of Singapore.
As a History teacher, I’m excited to learn more about this part of the world. I’ve been delighted by the recommendations for reading and museums that our students have shared with me. The students here certainly demonstrate that they live the school’s values of scholarship and academic curiosity.
As Senior School Principal, I’m eager to continue building a community that celebrates academic rigour and ambition. At the same time, I want to encourage students to explore a wide range of opportunities beyond the classroom. I know the journey to adulthood can be as challenging as it is rewarding, and I’m committed to supporting our students with care and optimism as they navigate this important stage of their lives.”
North London Collegiate School (Singapore) is at 130 Depot Road.
