Liu Kuo-sung: Experimentation as Method

The National Gallery is staging Singapore’s largest public exhibition of modern ink master Liu Kuo-sung. As a world-renowned pioneer in modern Chinese ink practices; the exhibition spotlights key periods of Liu Kuo-sung’s groundbreaking artistic practice and trailblazing experimentation.
With over 60 paintings and 150 items from the artist’s personal archive, explore Liu’s creative evolution to go beyond the brush. Look out for the guided tours, panel discussions and activities for kids and families, plus Siong Leng Musical Association’s response to the exhibition and an inspired dish at The Great Mischief.
The exhibition is free for Singaporeans/PRs, registration is required. For Non-Singaporeans/PRs tickets cost $20 and $15 for concession.
