Petti-pants comfy and cool underwear!

31st May 2021 by Rebecca Bisset 2 Min Read

https://expatliving.sg/petti-pants-underwear-shapewear-to-reduce-thigh-chafing/

Annoyed by sweaty thighs and thigh chafing in the Singapore climate? It’s a common complaint among women here and in other hot countries. And, a lot of the ‘shapewear’ on the market is uncomfortable and hot, so that’s no help. What would be ideal is an anti-shapewear alternative that feels like you’re wearing nothing at all!

SUSIE TAAFFE, an engineer who lives in Brisbane, Australia, has come up with Petti-pants Underwear in an effort to solve the problem. Petti-pants are the first product released under her brand, Missy Massy. A huge advocate for self-love and empowerment through fashion, Susie created the brand with the mission of helping all women feel amazing every day in the clothes they wear.

Find out if Petti-pants are the right answer to your dressing woes!

Introducing Petti-pants Underwear

They’re like a modernised version of the French petticoat for your legs, a sensual undergarment that can be worn under any outfit. And they’re designed to look beautiful and feminine, while maximising the wearer’s comfort and freedom; this is unlike shapewear, which is usually uncomfortable.

The pieces come in a myriad of styles, from loud motifs like navy skulls, leopard print and pink floral, to simple hues like blush pink, black and nude, to name a few. So, there’s plenty of choice for picking the most fitting aesthetic for your overall look.

Problems that Petti-pants are designed to solve

Petti-pants are made from soft and silky fabric, with extra large cotton panels for maximum breathability. The functionality of the materials has been tested over a decade to address a multitude of “underwear issues” that women face.

The comfy fabric helps to combat thigh chafing that can leave your surrounding skin raw, red and painful. Thankfully, you no longer need to strive to achieve the elusive “thigh gap” to feel comfortable in your body.

Besides chafing, they can also smooth out lumps and bumps, and cover up visible panty lines so they don’t ruin a sweet outfit. For those concerned about stomach rolls that may show through your top, you can also put on Petti-pants to get rid of muffin-tops once and for all!

Who Petti-pants are made for

As there is no one-size-fits-all, the underwear ranges from XS to XXL to accommodate women of all shapes and sizes. The product also comes in both US and Australian sizes to cater to an international customer base.

This wardrobe essential even suits pregnant and postnatal women; the stretchy fabric is designed to grow with your bump and back in again. You can tell Susie really meant it when she used the phrase “all women” in her mission statement!

Happy Customer – Jane Cleary (Singapore)

“I absolutely love my Petti-pants. I’m wearing them right now and I can’t even tell I’ve got them on, they’re so comfortable. They will be a game-changer for me in this humidity… dresses, here I come!”

Check out the full Petti-pants range on the website or view the chic collection on Instagram.

Delivery to Singapore is only $10 for two pairs, or free for orders above $150.
