We’ve got the scoop on the latest skin, hair and makeup launches in Singapore this month, so you won’t be left behind. From a teeth whitening treatment (with a special discount!) to personalised facials , here are our top beauty treatments and new skincare and make-up products to try out!
Hydrate and rejuvenate
If you’re looking for a way to rejuvenate your skin without going under the knife, one option is to get fillers. Made of hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring sugar molecule found in human tissues, facial fillers help to replace soft-tissue volume loss, while subtly lifting the skin and enhancing the lip and nose contours. This treatment also helps to boost hydration and radiance. Downtime is minimal and results may be visible immediately after.
Try it at W Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. #06-28/29 Mount Elizabeth Novena Specialist Center, 38 Irrawaddy Road.
Popular Japanese skincare brand D Program is now available in Singapore! The sensitive skincare line offers hypoallergenic products including a BB Essence ($38.90), as well as a variety of lotions and moisturisers that target different skin conditions.

Rock & Herb’s latest Mineral Aegis liquid lipsticks ($45) are on top of our wishlist. Formulated with chia seed oil, hyaluronic acid and Vitamin C, the long-wearing formula helps to lock in moisture in the lips while repelling airborne water droplets that are potentially harmful. The mask-friendly lipsticks are available in five beautiful shades.
Ask the expert
Founder of aesthetic clinic SW1, Dr Low Chai Ling, answers a popular question on skincare.
Question: I’m breaking out more than usual even though I’m staying at home. What can I do?
Answer: There are many reasons for lockdown outbreaks. These include increased stress due to uncertainties, a change in your regular skincare routine, frequent use of masks, and the lack of deep cleansing facials.
Try using acne-clearing products like the Clear Bliss Clearing & Soothing Gel ($98.50), which targets acne without drying up the skin. A good cleanser is also a must; our favourite is the Skin Laundry I 24K Gold Cleanser ($64.20), which helps to clarify the skin while leaving it supple and plump.
DIY home facials are a must as appointments with your beauticians may be scarce at this time. Try giving your skin a deep cleanse every week by using a scrub such as the Gold Flakes Illuminating Facial Scrub ($64.20), followed by a face peel. We also offer a bespoke facial peel ($91) that’s customised to your skin type and needs. All you need to do is fill out a simple form and it’ll be formulated just for your skin, and then delivered to your doorstep.
Lastly, a good face mask can soothe inflammations and reduce redness. Try the Water Infusion Mask ($21.40), which does wonders for stressed-out skin requiring TLC during this period!
… this DIY Facial Kit ($76) from online store flowwe.sg. The duo-step set includes two salon-grade bestsellers from beauty salon Chez Moi De Beaute: a Regeneration Biocellulose sheet mask and a Phyris Essential Ampoule of your choice. After cleansing and exfoliating, massage the ampoule into your skin. Apply the mask and leave it on for 20 minutes, then remove it. Voila! Plump and glowy skin like you’ve just had a facial at the salon.
