Good Hair Days
Aussie-made and owned haircare brand DunGüd recently made a splash in Singapore as co-founder Phil Taylor and global ambassador Becc Snow flew in to launch four new products – the Lift Volume Shampoo and Conditioner, Pomp Workable Hairspray and Reflection High Shine Serum. Media and industry VIPs were even treated to live hair cutting and styling demonstrations by Snow herself using DunGüd’s products. Check out the products in select salons or via exclusive distributor Woorailoora.
Less is More
Ever had a bad reaction to skincare products that are heavy in active ingredients? Then new skincare brand Etat Pur might be a great solution. Conceived by Bioderma founder Jean-Noël Thorel, the brand smartly separates pure skincare products made with biomimetic ingredients and pure actives into two product lines. That way, you could targettreat your areas of concern using customised dosages of active ingredients and prevent over-treating and irritating your skin.

A new Japanese salon to check out!
Japanese small face correction is a one-of-a-kind facial therapy that’s been making the rounds in Singapore in recent years. Last month, new beauty salon Atelier Kogao opened not one but two locations (in Clarke Quay and Delfi Orchard) to offer highly specialised small face correction treatments for those who are after the elusive V-shaped face!
Its Kogao Signature treatment, especially, combines a luxurious facial with facial pressure point massages and chiropractic adjustments performed by skilled specialists to tackle issues like facial asymmetry, bone structure distortions and puffy or sagging skin. It’s a relatively painless alternative to more invasive face-slimming procedures, resulting in not only rejuvenated skin but more defined facial contours too.
Meanwhile, those who favour more relaxing treatments will love the Bihada Plus facial, which uses the leading Japanese beauty device Belega Cell Cure 4T Plus (Atelier Kogao is the first salon in Singapore to offer this). It utilises the patented “I.W. Wave”, as well as microcurrent and electroporation technology to sculpt the face, boost collagen production and deliver hydration to the deeper layers of the skin without any pain.
Special offer! To celebrate its launch, Atelier Kogao is offering first-time customers the Kogao Signature treatment at $158 (usually $358) and Bihada Plus treatment at $128 (usually $281).

Bright and Beautiful
A good eye serum is essential to fighting gravity’s pull on the skin, especially around your fragile eye area! La Prairie’s Skin Caviar Eye Lift has recently been given an update to boast even greater eye-lifting and wrinkle-reducing properties, newly infused with the likes of caviar micronutrients to help hydrate and firm the eye contours. It’s available at La Prairie Counters at ION Orchard, Metro Paragon, Takashimaya D.S., and TANGS at Tang Plaza.
Silky Smooth Skin
Adding a gentle facial peel to your exfoliation routine could do wonders in giving you smoother and more youthful skin. One on our radar? Kiehl’s new Clearly Corrective Daily Re-Texturising Triple Acid Peel. Infused with AHA, BHA, and PHA, the rinse-free formula is gentle enough to be used daily yet effective in reducing pores and smoothing skin textures.
On the Pulse
Are you a fan of non-surgical aesthetic treatments? Then make your way to Evoque Medical Aesthetics in Dhoby Ghaut, where you’ll discover some of the new Korean technologies on the market, which founder Dr Sanjay Ganhasan uses while bringing his extensive experience in facial surgery and minimally invasive aesthetic procedures to the table. Specifically, the HIFU treatment stands out for featuring the new Ultraformer MPT. This technology utilises customised micro- and macro-focused ultrasound to maximise efficacy in face lifting, skin tightening, collagen regeneration and body contouring. HIFU sessions at Evoque also include the Ultrabooster treatment, which brightens and whitens skin.
