Named after the Egyptian queen with the famously lovely jawline, a Nefertiti facelift is a non-invasive procedure where tiny amounts of micro-Botox are injected into your neck, specifically the ones that create a downward pull on your jawline. It’s these platysmal bands that pull down on your lower face and jawline, creating sag and laxity. By gently releasing these awkward bands, you achieve a smoother-looking canvas and get a mini-lift at the same time! It takes about a week to start seeing results – a smoother and slimmer jawline, plus a less jowly neck profile. Try it at SW1 Paragon (#13-03) and OUE Downtown Gallery (#02- 19/20). email@example.com | sw1clinic.com
If you have some time to spare before your flight, why not squeeze in a 30-minute facial at Dermalogica’s concept store at Jewel, Changi Airport (#B1-283)? The ProSkin 30 ($65) is a personalised facial treatment suitable for those with tight schedules; or go for the 60-minute option ($135) for a pampering treat.

Ellie from The Big Blow gives us her top makeup tips to glam up in 10 minutes.
1. Apply a bright or sultry dark lip colour for an instant switch-up. You can also darken your eyebrows, which completes the look.
2. No time to redo your makeup? Take some dark brown or dark grey eyeshadow on a small angled makeup brush. Starting on the outside edge of your lash line, apply close to the eyelashes, blending out towards the centre of the eye. You can do the top and the bottom lash lines depending on how “smoky” you want your eyes to look. On the inner corners, add a touch of shimmer.
3. Add a little glow. Fine textured gold powders or luminisers are a fast way to create glow. I use Diamond Dust from Vani-T. Using your ring finger, tap a little into the centre of your eyelids and along the top of your cheekbones. This helps to make the eyes and cheeks pop out.
This limited-edition Éclat Brilliant highlighter ($150) from Chantecaille’s holiday collection is perfect for festive soirées. Swipe the velvety cream-powder formula across your skin for an elegant golden sheen.

“Editor-in-chief Rebecca Bisset dropped by Raffles Spa for a spa sesh – here’s what she thought! The newly reopened Raffles Hotel has been wowing everyone, and the spa is no exception. I loved the tiling work, the detail in each room and every part of the “flow”. The service is exceptional, too. From the tea and snacks in the relaxation lounge to the ice bath and steam rooms, it’s been very well thought out.
The massage beds are the most comfortable and luxurious out of all the spas I’ve experienced. I wanted to tuck the linen under my arm and take it home with me! The oils are equally luxurious, and the shea butter body scrub leaves you as smooth as a baby, but smelling even better.
There are couples’ rooms for special romantic occasions, plus there’s an indulgent party room perfect for a hen’s night or a big birthday celebration with girlfriends.”
