Looking for the best outdoor furniture?

30th September 2021 by Amy Brook-Partridge 8 Min Read

Outdoor living is just one of the many perks of living on this tropical isle. Consequently the range of outdoor furniture in Singapore is pretty amazing. From sofas, chairs and tables to rugs, lanterns and even pizza ovens, these outdoor furniture stores will have you living your best alfresco life!

OHMM – outdoor furniture & accessories

This outdoor furniture specialist in Singapore carries over 30 collections, including chairs, tables, sofas, bars, stools, daybeds, sun loungers and parasols. There’s everything from old classics reinterpreted for today to modern pieces. Woven in high-quality synthetic rattan, all the items are handcrafted in the OHMM factory in Cebu, and each piece comes with a five-year warranty; this includes its own serialised Passed Quality Control badge attached. You can choose from various colours and Sunbrella fabrics to work with your style. The store also offers a free design service to help you choose collections, elements, fibre and fabric colours.

News from the store!

The Pesaro accent tables and Habitat planters are exciting new collections you can now find at OHMM. The accent tables come in a curated mix of sizes, as well as different smooth tops. These contrast with the highly textured handcrafted woven bases.

The planters come in five distinct colourways; they’re designed with removable inserts with handles and are available in a variety of sizes. Plants can be directly planted into the inserts (with drainage holes optional) or potted.

The OHMM team’s advice is to invest a little more in quality furniture, to get products that look good, last longer and are better for Mother Earth. “Over all other materials, we’ve come to learn that high-quality synthetic rattan is definitely the most durable, which we recommend as a key consideration when buying outdoor furniture in Singapore,” says chief designer Kevin Boland.

Woody Antique House – wicker outdoor furniture

Woody Antique House has been carrying high-quality synthetic wicker outdoor furniture from Domus Ventures for the past 15 years. Each product is designed to be stylish yet fully suitable for the outdoor environment. The materials used are environmental-friendly and fully weatherproof, and even have UV- and dirt-resistant capabilities. With this brand, there’s an extensive range that includes armchairs, modular sofas, sunbeds and lounges, dining sets and hanging chairs. Take a look around!

News from the store!

Looking for something a little different to the more traditional synthetic wicker furniture? The Verona sofa set offers a great alternative, and features an aluminium frame in a white-and-black powder-coated finish. Simple and elegant, it’s also weatherproof and comes with outdoor cushions. The corners of the frame are designed at a unique 45 degrees, so there are no sharp corners. As a result, it’s very child-friendly! (The Woody team suggests wiping your furniture down regularly with a soft, damp cloth, and also to avoid using any abrasive materials.)

Originals – outdoor furniture in Singapore for balcony or garden settings

The outdoor furniture at Originals comes in all shapes and sizes, from balcony furniture to outdoor dining sets, if you’re lucky to have a bit of patio or a garden. In the massive showroom there’s a section dedicated to showing you how the pieces could look in your outdoor area – whatever the type. Alongside functional and contemporary tables and chairs, sofas, loungers and coffee tables, there’s a range of accessories for completing the look, including rugs and outdoor lamps. Available in a mix of styles, the all-weather pieces are good if you’re looking for something more modern, as well as for those who want a more rustic woven look.

News from the store!

Originals has recently introduced a new range of more compact outdoor pieces that would work on balconies and in other smaller spaces. The different materials and textures really work and complement each other. The outdoor furniture collection won’t necessarily give you a unique look, but the pieces are made from high-quality, weather-resistant materials that make maintenance really easy. And all items are in stock and available for immediate delivery!

Arete Culture – pieces & accessories for every space

The extensive Outdoor Living Collection includes weather-friendly pieces for small and large outdoor areas. There are lounge sets, coffee tables, dining tables, end and side tables. There’s also a range of outdoor accessories, including all-weather cushion covers and outdoor lighting solutions.

News from the store!

Arete Culture’s Soho Lounge Set (pictured above) is a beautiful indoor/outdoor low-profile collection combining weather-friendly teak and woven accents made from the fabric used to make parachutes. It’s durable, water-friendly and UV-resistant. The luxuriously padded seat cushions give the hardworking set an elegant touch too.

The all-weather fabric used across their products is made to withstand sun and rain. But to prolong fabric they always recommend that customers put up seat cushions so they don’t collect water during storms. Don’t panic, though, if cushions do get rained on; you can just do a quick wipe down to prevent the likelihood of water stains.
