Alcohol in Singapore is expensive, as you probably know… so we’ve have tracked down over 20 great bars that will help you get more drinks for your dollar! Check out the awesome guide below for the best bars and restaurants across the island that offer cheap drinks or great happy hour deals. Go forth and be merry! Crossroads

Dine alfresco and get some good people-watching in. Located on the ground floor of Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel, this restaurant bar offers a delicious selection of local and Western specialties, plus a large selection of wines and beer on tap. Crossroads’ happy hour happens Monday through Friday from 11am to 8pm (yes, all day!). For $10, you can grab a glass of white or red wine, a pint of beer, a glass of sangria or a house-pour spirit. As cheap drinks in Singapore goes, that’s not a bad deal!

Alchemist Beer Lab

From Sunday to Thursday all-day, and Friday and Saturday from 2pm to 6pm, enjoy happy hour specials at Alchemist Beer Lab. Prices start at $10 for a pint, cocktails start at $14, and a glass of chardonnay will set you back at just $10.

Between 5pm to 8pm daily, enjoy happy hour deals at this well-stocked bar, with house-pour spirits from $9, wine at $10, and draught beers from $11 per pint. You can also get a bucket of five bottled beers at just  $45.

Alley Bar

Like at its neighbour Acid Bar, the happy hour specials at Alley Bar run from 5pm to 8pm daily, and include the same deal on house-pour spirits (from $9), wine (from $10), draught beers (from $11), classic cocktails at $15. Selected premium bottles are at $188 on Sundays to Wednesdays before 10pm.

No. 5 Emerald Hill

This popular cocktail bar just off Orchard Road features an all-day happy hour (12pm until 8pm) with deals for gentlemen’s pours and more. There’s also a fab range of martinis available all-day; the Marvelous Martinis go at two for $22; the Champagne Martinis are two for $30; the Glorious Martinis are two for $28.

Chupitos Shots Bar

During happy hour (3.30pm to 7.30pm daily) at this Clarke Quay bar, selected shots, bottled beers and house pours go for just $6 nett. From 8pm to 10pm, it’s $10 a pop.

Loof

At this rooftop bar, happy hour runs until 8pm on weekdays. Cocktails like mojito will set you back at just $12 each, and you can get a glass of housepour bubbly or wine at $10 a glass.

Bikini Bar

Sun’s out, bun’s out! This beach bar at Siloso Beach is running a promotion on Asahi bottles – get two for $14 instead of the usual price of $26. You’ll also find cheap cocktails priced from $10 for a highball.

Five Izakaya

This hidden gem in the East offers unbeatable all-day wine deals, priced from $5 for a glass of housepour red or white. There’s also a value set lunch served until 2pm daily, which lets you top up just $3 for half a pint of beer, or a glass of sake or wine. An absolute steal!
