We’re going wild over the new safari-inspired collection by Cath Kidston. Reminiscent of family day trips during the summer holidays, the new range, which includes backpacks, bags, smaller accessories and homeware, features a quirkily kitsch print that combines motifs of English safari parks and the African savannah. #B2-48 ION Orchard.

Pacific Plaza, #02-01
Go there for: Quirky and wearable accessories, bags and shoes.
What I found: Colourful clutches from ClutchMe by Q. They are made with python skin, look very sophisticated and are good value for money ($159). The store also has a fab selection of colours and can customise a bag to your colour of choice. From now until the end of May, receive 20-percent off ClutchMe by Q in store.
Far East Plaza, collection point at ManneQueen, #03-105, 9633 5647
Go there for: Professional restoration and care of leather bags.
What I found: Not only can this shop professionally clean my favourite bag, but it can also restore the colour to its original glory. There may be a slight colour difference between the before and after depending on the leather – ask beforehand to avoid disappointment.
Far East Plaza, #03-105
Go there for: Chunky accessories, trendy clothes.
What I found: Many easy-to-wear tops to pair with jeans. The collection at ManneQueen is varied, and it constantly refreshes its stock. Sizes S to L are available. The cut is quite small here, so I’d recommend going for a larger size than you normally would.
Far East Plaza, #03-118, 6734 9172
Go there for: Designer-inspired clothes.
What I found: I’ll admit, finding good clothes in here is like looking for a needle in a haystack, but once I’d sorted through many dresses to find one that fitted well, the savings were definitely worth it. My find was an Alaia-inspired dress, which emphasises my curves. Most designs come in only one size, but are generous.
