Two vacuum cleaners that do things other ones don’t!
We know there are wet and dry vacuum cleaners (ones that mop and vacuum). And we know about the robot vacuum cleaner that will do most of the work for you. But MOVA is a home appliance brand that’s doing things differently. New to the market and already winning innovation awards, MOVA’s vacuum cleaners offer plenty of attributes that others don’t. I recently went to the brand’s new product launch and tried out their new and very nifty robot vacuum, the MOVA Z50 Ultra – which features intelligent mopping and AI dirt detection (and pet detection!) – and also their new wet and dry vacuum, the MOVA X4 Pro, which mops and vacuums. I got to see all the features of both appliances, with demonstrations that showed the cleaning capacity for food and liquids as well the maintenance side of the design. What they’ve created is really very impressive.

#1 The MOVA Z50 Ultra robot vacuum cleaner
As well having a suction power of 19,000 Pa, the Z50 Ultra is the world’s first vacuum cleaner with thermostatic mopping set at 36°C. The new track-type roller mop cleaning technology uses freshwater sprays to clean, while the dirty water is collected as the mop rolls.
The six-step cleaning process allows for an effective and deep clean, through heating, spraying, scrubbing, scraping, collecting and fluffing. Here’s a quick run-down!
Features of the Z50 Ultra robot vacuum cleaner
- The mop works at an optimal temperature of 36°C to dissolve stains without harming wooden floors. A particular algorithm controls the water flow, while spray nozzles evenly wet the mop, which creates a fresh running warm-water cleaning system. This advanced technique speeds up stain removal and enhances overall cleaning performance.
- Mop fibres usually become flattened after scraping, which reduces their cleaning efficiency over time. The MOVA Z50 Ultra solves this scenario with a 70 RPM high-speed fluffing engine that spins in the opposite direction. It lifts and restores the fibres instantly.
- There’s an extendable side brush that reaches deep into corners. This FlexMop Roboswing technology also has two extendable rotary mops that navigate tight spaces – it effectively lifts dust and stains using dual mop pads.
- The side and roller brushes lift during mopping to allow only the mops to operate. This prevents wet debris from being collected and stops liquid from spreading. When cleaning carpets, the mops and side brushes lift to keep carpets dry.
- Three AI systems in the vacuum work together to provide Real-Time Dirt Detection. The Binocular AI, Robot Vacuum AI and Base Station AI systems detect dirt, segment cleaning zones and adapt strategies in real time as well. The system monitors the mop’s condition and automatically re-washes it in the base station when necessary. This prevents re-contamination and ensures consistently high-quality cleaning.
- Triple anti-tangle features including an upgraded brush that has enclosed ends on its shaft to prevent hair from wrapping around the brush axis. The side brush that rotates along an eccentric circle mechanically flings hairs away to reduce buildup. Its track-type roller mop is equipped with a front-facing comb teeth design that straightens hairs to prevent tangling before they can cause snags.
- The All-in-One Base Station provides 75°C hot water mop washing, removing up to 99 percent of dirt. Users can adjust the water temperature for optimal cleaning and energy efficiency.
