Pre-order your Christmas food and then relax!

8th November 2021 by Dinesh Ajith 2 Min Read

Pre-order your Christmas food online from this sustainable, ethical fine grocer in Singapore! It’s easy to find yourself frazzled in the lead up to celebrations in December. As happy as the occasion is, we’ve all at some point found ourselves with too much to do and too little time. Thankfully, grocers are savvy to these problems – which is why they offer some of the easiest, most fuss-free ways to sort out your Christmas food.

One option for avoiding the pre-holiday jitters and planning your groceries ahead of time is Sasha’s Fine Foods. The online grocer has been a popular choice for some time now for food-conscious shoppers who want fully traceable, ethically sourced meat, fish and plant-based products. With a broad range of other products like artisan beer, wine, fruit, vegetables, cakes, pastries and cheese, it’s a one-stop shop for all your festive needs.

Mains

For your Christmas centrepiece, Sasha’s offers an ethically sourced, frozen, pre-basted turkey from leading French poultry specialist Société Bretonne de Volaille. To add to your holiday spread, the grocer stocks an extensive range of meats sourced from small-scale, inspirational farmers. Christmas roasts are another iconic dish for the season; one hearty option is the Wicks Manor boneless half ham, which is available smoked or unsmoked.

If you’re keen on cutting down the time spent in the kitchen, you can also pick up quick finger-food options. Examples include Our Very Own (OVO) sausage rolls and Wick’s Manor pork chipolatas. For lighter options, sustainably farmed salmon and Vietnamese shell-off tiger prawns will be a welcome addition to any spread.

Desserts

No Christmas feast is complete without an array of sweet treats. Comfort classics like mince pies and log cakes are available, and we also love the sound of the Borsari pear and chocolate panettone. Prefer a more savoury after-dinner offering? You can craft the perfect cheese board with fresh Italian burrata, Tours De Paris Brie and slivers of Parma ham; and also keep an eye out for more offerings becoming available between now and Christmas.

Drinks for Christmas

In line with Sasha’s focus on sustainable products, the grocery offers a selection of beers from Crust group. The line-up of artisan beers is made with upcycled ingredients like bread and fruit peels sourced from service and retail partners. Available beers include the crisp and refreshing Toasted Lager and the flavour-filled Breaking Bread Pale Ale. Prefer a hoppier brew that won’t weigh you down? Try the I Knead An Easy IPA. Other options include craft spirits like Brass Lion and Silent Pool gins, Diplomatico rum and also Black Cow vodka. In addition, there’s a carbon neutral Bression-Lourdeaux Champagne and Ilauri Extra Dry Prosecco.

How to order your Christmas food

Christmas pre-orders are available from 2 to 10 November and there’s no minimum order for deliveries. Free delivery is available for orders above $100. Orders of $150 and above qualify for free same-day delivery between Monday and Saturday, if you order before 1pm. And, if you’re concerned about your environmental impact, you’ll be happy to know that the grocer’s delivery fleet is carbon neutral.
