Singapore Sports Bars – Where to watch the FIFA World Cup 2022

30th November 2022 by Rebecca Bisset 5 Min Read

https://expatliving.sg/where-to-watch-rugby-in-singapore-sports-bars/

To save you time and get you to the big screen for the FIFA World Cup 2022 (and a pint), here’s a list of some of the best sports bars in Singapore. Watch rugby, cricket, football, soccer and other sports, and have some fun (at last!). Most of these venues have decent happy hours, and some have special drinks deals during games too!

Singapore Sports Bars

BQ Bar for multiple sports at the same time

With the ability to show multiple sports at the same time across several screens inside the bar, on the terrace, and along the side street, BQ is the true home of televised sport in Singapore! Team sports are the main draw, with evenings at the venue focused on football of all kinds, including rugby union (Super Rugby), rugby league (NRL)  and Premier League. But drop down over lunch and you’ll be able to catch some tennis or golf as well!

Molly Malone’s Irish Pub – a favourite for watching rugby

It’s no surprise that Molly’s is probably best known as a place for watching rugby, considering the GM is a former professional Irish player. And the venue also serves as the clubhouse of local team The Wanderers! But you’ll also find screens in three different rooms downstairs, plus more upstairs (along with darts and a pool table). As one of the best sports bars in Singapore, it also offers a host of other sports on its screens – soccer, Gaelic football, Formula 1 and AFL (Aussie Rules) are just a few that regularly feature!

Live sports screening at Thirty Six!

singapore sports bars best places to watch live footballWhether it’s rugby, cricket, tennis, football or the Grand Prix, Thirty Six Brewlab & Smokehouse is a bar where you and your friends can enjoy a wide range of live sporting action. You can catch your favourite team on multiple 75-inch LED screens and 150-inch projector screens. So, no more battling your way to finding the best viewing spot in the house!

Watch out for fun food promotions with certain sporting events, though even their regular menu will satisfy with its bold smoky flavours and hearty portions. Plus, the bar has its own range of house-brewed craft beers available, including pale ales, IPAs and more.

Follow Instagram (@thirtysix_sg) and Facebook (@ThirtySixSg) for the latest scheduling updates so you don’t miss out on the fun!
