Twice a year, rain or shine, my girlfriends and I clear our schedules for a full day (or three) of shopping at one of our favourite events in Singapore – the fabulous Boutiques Singapore! The excitement is already bubbling for the Spring Summer Edition 2025 which runs from 21 to 23 March. It’s shaping up to be another amazing extravaganza – we’re talking spring fashion, home décor, kids products and accessories across 320 curated brands (including 80 new brands) and over 200 exclusive launches. There’s even a brand-new food bar! Here’s a guide to what’s new at this season’s Boutiques.
But first, what is Boutiques Singapore?
Boutiques Singapore is one of the city’s most well-known shopping events. Now spanning three floors at the F1 Pit Building, this three-day retail extravaganza brings together women’s and men’s fashion, accessories, home décor, lifestyle products, kids’ toys and so much more – all under one roof.
You’ll discover rare finds and independent brands from Singapore, Southeast Asia and beyond, many of which don’t have a physical store here. It makes this the perfect chance to see, touch and try on rare pieces you won’t find anywhere else. Boutiques Singapore is where I’ve found some of my all-time favourite brands and had the loveliest chats with the owners behind them.
Unlimited entry to three days of shopping
A single ticket gives you unlimited entry for all three days, so you can shop at your own pace. No need to rush or cram everything into one visit! I like to go with girlfriends on the first day before returning solo the next for round two. Regular tickets go for $10 and under 12 get in for free.
The Garage – an all-new experience at the Spring Summer Edition 2025
Every season of Boutiques Singapore brings something fresh, and this edition’s Food Bar in The Garage is sure to be the talk of the event. For the first time ever, this dedicated space on Level 1 – originally designed to house F1 teams during the Singapore Grand Prix – will be transformed into a lush, fully sheltered alfresco-style dining area seating 300 guests.
Expect a mouthwatering lineup from award-winning smoked meats from Blue Smoke to dim sum from Quan Shui Wet Market, Mexican fare from Chimichanga to crowd-favourite bagels from Two Men Bagel House. Plus, there’ll be vegan delights, local craft beer, wine and lots more. So you can shop till you drop, refuel to your tummy’s content, and jump right back into the action!
10 new brands to check out at Boutiques Singapore
#1 Bhutan Blossoms
Landing in Singapore for the first time is Bhutan Blossoms, a social enterprise tackling environmental and social challenges through ethical farming. A manufacturer of herbs, spices, teas and edible flowers, they offer products like Bhutanese Mountain Tea, Szechuan Pepper Himalayan Salt Mix and Wild Mushroom Risotto all available at Boutiques Singapore. Their profit-sharing model ensures farmers, employees and communities benefit equally. Ethical and delicious!
#2 FREY.
Struggling to find clothes that fit well? You’ll want to check out this silver award winner for Best Tailors in the Expat Living Hong Kong Readers’ Choice Awards 2024. After 12 years in men’s tailoring at Suit Supply, Frederieke van Doorn launched FREY. to offer stylish, well-tailored womenswear she felt was missing from the market. Think ready-to-wear pieces for work and everyday, plus a ‘create-your-own’ tailoring service and in-house alterations. Sustainability is top of mind too, with pieces made from premium deadstock fabrics from Italian mills.
Exclusive: Making its Singapore debut, the label will be unveiling a collection of silk-print dresses, blouses and trousers – only available at Boutiques.
#3 South Beach Boardies
Kirsten Lopez launched South Beach Boardies six years ago because she was unable to find quality, ethically made and sustainable beachwear for her Aussie family. Now a beloved brand with a Joo Chiat store (opened June 2024), it’s known for its bold prints and ultra-limited-edition pieces – some with runs as small as 30! Don’t miss the Men’s and Women’s Cubano Shirts at the event. Kirsten calls them “the perfect warm-weather party shirt.”
#4 .bungkus
One of this year’s proud recipients of the Boutiques Showcase Grant – which celebrates pioneering design and rising creative talent – is .bungkus. Offering cool, stylish and functional products all made from single-use plastic, this brand stands out for its hands-on approach. Rather than large-scale industrial processes, the team collects discarded plastic bags – then cleans, fuses and repurposes them into new products. They also regularly host workshops to teach people how to upcycle plastic waste at home.
Exclusive: Look out for the Mio’s Signature Bag, the latest addition to their collection, being launched at the event!
#5 saint àvia
As much as I love my gold-plated jewellery, nothing quite beats the quality and durability of solid gold. Founded in Sydney and Singapore, this independent brand crafts minimalist solid gold jewellery inspired by the founders’ grandmother. Think timeless 14k and 18k gold with natural diamonds and gemstones – pieces you’ll wear for years and pass down. Best of all, no hefty markups keep them surprisingly affordable!
Exclusive: Say hello to a new collection of gemstone jewellery featuring rubies, sapphires and emeralds to be launched at Boutiques, with pieces starting from $150.
#6 Matsu Matcha
This is one of the first brands in Singapore to offer rare and ultra-premium matcha powder that’s rich, smooth and totally umami. It’s great for everything from matcha lattes to traditional ushucha (regular) or koicha (thick) matcha. I’ve been on a matcha latte-making kick lately, so I’m definitely stocking up! Matcha fans will be happy to know that they partner up with Suikaen, a 500-year-old family business, to offer their iconic (and often sold-out worldwide) matcha whisks.
#7 UBIQ Watches
Another Boutiques Showcase Grant recipient to look out for is homegrown watchmaker UBIQ Watches. Founder Drayson Phua was determined to create a unique yet well-crafted timepiece to wear and eventually pass down to his son. Inspired by his son’s bright and colourful world, Drayson sketched out his vision. The result? Dual, a watch that blends “a sense of joy” with functionality and craftsmanship.
Exclusive: UBIQ Watches will unveil its next timepiece, Trek, a 38mm titanium field watch at Boutiques. Don’t miss the event-exclusive pre-order discount!
#8 La Peche Swim
There’s no such thing as owning too much swimwear in Singapore! Le Peche Swim, a luxury resort and swimwear brand, offers gorgeous high-quality pieces designed for the confident, adventurous modern woman. What stands out is the meticulous creative process. Each collection is carefully curated and intricately hand-drawn from scratch, taking nine to twelve months from start to finish.
#9 Talula Farms
Does finding sustainably farmed, fresh and delicious produce in Singapore feel like an impossible task? Talula Farms is here to change that. This farm-to-table grocer delivers seasonal, heirloom and sustainable vegetables and fruits grown in a small organic farm in Kluang, Malaysia straight to over 500 homes and 50 top restaurants and hotels in Singapore! Catch them at the Boutiques Singapore event for the first time to learn more about their story and how to shop their produce.
#10 JoyJoy
These definitely aren’t your typical kids’ sneakers! Founded by two mums in South Africa, JoyJoy’s interchangeable sneakers feature removable Velcro “snaps” (the entire range of which will be available at Boutiques) in fun designs like glittery stars and gaming consoles. That means that little ones can personalise their kicks to match their mood, personality or outfits. Ergonomic, flexible, dirt-repellent and featuring extra heel padding for all-day wear, they’re also machine washable and lace-free, making them fuss-free for parents too!
