The Perse School (Singapore) offers a continuous journey from Nursery through to Senior School, combining over 400 years of Cambridge heritage with a future-focused approach to learning. Here, the school shares four key aspects of its holistic education; plus, find details on how you can tour the campus!
#1 Holistic education with core values
The Perse School (Singapore) has its roots in the academic reputation of The Perse School Cambridge, one of the top five independent schools in the UK. With A-levels set to launch in August 2027, the school is building a clear academic pathway that supports students at every stage of their development.
A strong Cambridge foundation is supported by the school’s core values: endeavour, intellectual curiosity and scholarship, breadth and balance, and valuing one another and the environment.
This is in line with the school’s three-dimensional approach to holistic education, which places equal importance on academic excellence, co-curricular involvement and pastoral care. The result is a culture where students are given encouragement to think independently, develop intellectual curiosity and grow with confidence. Besides guiding students academically, teachers play a central role in helping students build resilience, character and a strong sense of purpose.
#2 British curriculum with skills for life
The Perse School (Singapore) is committed to a curriculum that prepares students for challenges in the future. In the classroom, students engage with subjects such as entrepreneurship, coding and robotics, design and technology and sustainable learning. These prepare them for a rapidly evolving world. Further enriching the experience are meaningful connections with The Perse Cambridge, which results in opportunities for collaboration, shared experiences and a broader global perspective.
Beyond the classroom, students benefit from a wide and diverse co-curricular programme to become well-rounded individuals. The school also offers over 100 extracurricular activities across all year levels – activities range from sports and games to the arts, wellbeing, sciences and technology.
Students enjoy access to high-quality coaching and facilities through partnerships with world-class sports partners such as Barca Academy (football), The Yard (gymnastics) and CricKingdom (cricket). Additional sport opportunities include swimming, basketball, touch rugby, badminton, korfball, baseball and more.
#3 Purpose-built facilities
The campus reflects the holistic approach to education, with purpose-built spaces designed to inspire exploration and excellence. Facilities include a culinary lab, dedicated arts and music studios and well-equipped science laboratories.
Looking ahead, a dedicated Design & Technology lab and a Primary School science lab will open in August 2026 – these place The Perse among the few international schools in Singapore to offer science lab access at the primary level to foster curiosity and hands-on learning from an early age.
The school received the award for Best New Campus in 2025 from HoneyKids Asia, along with Most Affordable International School, and Diversity and Inclusive Community awards.
#4 Global community
The Perse School (Singapore) has an international community that brings together around 800 students from diverse backgrounds, with capacity to grow to 1,500. Its student population comprises over 60 nationalities, with no single nationality exceeding 18 percent of the student population. Students learn alongside peers from around the world. They share perspectives, celebrate cultures and develop a strong sense of global citizenship from an early age.
Hear from the Principal
“What makes our school so special is its strong sense of purpose. There’s also its close ties to The Perse School in Cambridge and its vibrant, diverse community. I’m excited to build on these, bringing a globally respected tradition of excellence to life here in Singapore.” – Ms Lynne Oldfield
