If you feel guilty about leaving your ‘best friend’ home alone, here are 18 dog-friendly cafes in Singapore where they can tag along! There are some bars and beach clubs in the mix too, and special dog cafés too.

Flourish Bakehouse

This humble bakery and dog-friendly cafe is set within the The Guild International College grounds in Phoenix Park. It’s become a popular hangout for families and their dogs to spend quality time together over fresh bakes, grilled cheese toasties and great artisanal coffee. The Bakehouse has a cosy indoor seating area and picnic-style seating for customers who prefer some fun in the sun! Located off Tanglin Road, it’s an easy spot to drive to, with plenty of parking.

Canopy Garden Dining

This lovely casual dog-friendly cafe and restaurant is located close to the popular dog run at Bishan Park 2 – between Bishan and Ang Mo Kio. With brunch classics like Eggs Benedict and awesome pizzas, you can head over with your furry pal and enjoy your meal alfresco.

For the most reasonably priced bottle of wine across Singapore and a cracking pizza, complete with vegetarian and gluten-free versions, head to this dog-friendly bar at Robertson Walk. It has plenty of outdoor seating and dogs are welcome. Tip: Sit out the back where the tables are lower, so you can keep an eye on le chien!

This brilliant beachside bar and restaurant on Sentosa is a great all-rounder. At this dog-friendly cafe you can take pooch into the sea for a paddle, there are sun loungers for a snooze, big tables in the shade for a family day out and a huge menu of hearty seaside grub.

Tanjong Beach Club

Whether you’re after a yummy breakfast or evening drinks, Tanjong Beach Club on Sentosa is a dog-friendly spot definitely worth a visit. Dogs can entertain themselves in the sand and sea, before retreating into the shade for a snooze while owners enjoy cocktails and a swim. Note: Under AVA rulings, all dogs are required to be on a leash, even on the beach.

The Dempsey Project

The innovative menu at this dog-friendly restaurant/cafe features all your favourite brunch classics and wholesome mains, from toasted sandwiches and superfood salads to yummy pasta and indulgent cheese boards. The Dempsey Project also has a great mix of trending dishes, too, such as gluten-free, vegan and dairy-free options. The newest addition is a food shop for buying goodies for home.

The cafe has both a “humans only” section as well as a pet-friendly section where you can relax with your pooch while sipping on a home-roasted coffee. Not only that, but there’s a special menu just for your furry kids to enjoy while there as well.

Not only does this Kith whip up a beautiful coffee, it’s located a few steps from the Singapore River, perfect for a meal or drink after a nice walk with your dog. With outdoor-only dining, pet owners brunching over the weekend are a common sight as their furry friends mingle with others.

This well-priced European-style bistro on the West Coast has a warm bakery vibe and some unbelievably good cakes. W39 is close to West Coast Park for walkies, and bringing your pet along is positively encouraged; plus, you can purchase a few small treats for them there to enjoy. (Note: you’ll need to dine alfresco.)

This trendy day-time dog-friendly cafe is big on high-quality coffee and has a great atmosphere, as well as a lovely, comfy riverside location. You’ll need to dine outside with your furry friends, but don’t worry, on our recent visit, we looked back as we were ordering a coffee and the staff were patting our pups and giving her lots of attention. She was very spoilt!

The Garden Slug

This friendly, unpretentious dog cafe in the East is all about humble food in a comfortable setting. There’s a special menu just for your furry buddy, offering healthy dog-friendly dishes such as steak, fish and chicken.
