If you feel guilty about leaving your ‘best friend’ home alone, here are 18 dog-friendly cafés in Singapore where they can tag along!

Flourish Bakehouse

This humble bakery and café is set within the The Guild International College grounds in Phoenix Park. It’s become a popular hangout for families and their dogs to spend quality time together over fresh bakes, grilled cheese toasties and great artisanal coffee. The Bakehouse has a cosy indoor seating area and picnic-style seating for customers who prefer some fun in the sun! Located off Tanglin Road, it’s an easy spot to drive to, with plenty of parking.

Canopy Garden Dining

This lovely casual dog-friendly cafe and restaurant is located close to the popular dog run at Bishan Park 2 – between Bishan and Ang Mo Kio. With brunch classics like Eggs Benedict and awesome pizzas, you can head over with your furry pal and enjoy your meal alfresco.

Café Iguana

Meeting friends in Clarke Quay and want to take the dog along? Mexican dinner spot Café Iguana has a casual fun setting, a wonderful view of the Singapore river, and mean margarita, chimichangas and dog-friendly!

Wine Connection

For the most reasonably priced bottle of wine across Singapore and a cracking pizza, complete with vegetarian and gluten-free versions, head to this dog-friendly bar at Robertson Walk. It has plenty of outdoor seating and dogs are welcome. Tip: Sit out the back where the tables are lower, so you can keep an eye on le chien!

Coastes

This brilliant beachside bar and restaurant on Sentosa is a great all-rounder. At this dog-friendly cafe you can take pooch into the sea for a paddle, there are sun loungers for a snooze, big tables in the shade for a family day out and a huge menu of hearty seaside grub.

Coastes - pet friendly restaurants

Tanjong Beach Club

Whether you’re after a yummy breakfast or evening drinks, Tanjong Beach Club on Sentosa is definitely worth a visit. Your dog can entertain itself in the sand and sea, before retreating into the shade for a snooze while owners enjoy cocktails and a swim. Note: Under AVA rulings, all dogs are required to be on a leash, even on the beach.

Jones the Grocer

Dempsey is a great spot for taking the furry kids, especially after a walk in the Botanic Gardens. Head to Jones for hearty sandwiches, insane milkshakes and staff who love pups. In the evening (or earlier!), we’re also partial to a slosh of Jones’s Prosecco. Note that only the alfresco area is dog-friendly!

Sun Ray Café

An indoor dog-friendly cafe with an incredibly  relaxing ambience, Sun Ray has both a “humans only” section as well as a pet-friendly section where you can relax with your pooch while sipping on a home-roasted coffee. Not only that, but there’s a special menu just for your furry kids to enjoy while there as well.

Kith Café

Not only does Kith whip up a beautiful coffee, it’s located a few steps from the Singapore River, perfect for a meal or drink after a nice walk with your dog. With outdoor-only dining, pet owners brunching over the weekend are a common sight as their furry friends mingle with others.

Casa Verdé

Situated next door to the entrance of the Botanic Gardens, outdoor café Casa Verdé is the ideal finishing point for a walk through the gardens. At this dog-friendly cafe, enjoy a coffee and a catch-up while surrounded by nature with fur-kid fast asleep under the table!

This well-priced European-style bistro on the West Coast has a warm bakery vibe and some unbelievably good cakes. W39 is close to West Coast Park for walkies, and bringing your pet along is positively encouraged; plus, you can purchase a few small treats for them there to enjoy. (Note: you’ll need to dine alfresco.)

Want to take the dog out for a nice walk along the river, while also catching up on some live sport? Look no further than dog-friendly cafe, Aussie bistro and bar, Boomarang.

Brewerkz

This dog-friendly microbrewery along Clarke Quay is a great spot in the city for seriously good craft beers and American dining. It’s a good one for guys who are down for doggie duty.

Toby’s Estate

This trendy day-time dog-friendly café is big on high-quality coffee and has a great atmosphere, as well as a lovely, comfy riverside location. You’ll need to dine outside with your furry friends, but don’t worry, on our recent visit, we looked back as we were ordering a coffee and the staff were patting our pups and giving her lots of attention. She was very spoilt!

The Garden Slug

This friendly, unpretentious diner in the East is all about humble food in a comfortable setting. There’s a special menu just for your furry buddy, offering healthy dog-friendly dishes such as steak, fish and chicken.

Cibo Italian

A small and cosy dog-friendly restaurant, Cibo is a nice neighbourhood hangout for you and your pooch. With a tasty array of pastas and pizzas, it’s a great dog-friendly café for the whole (extended!) family to spend an evening. Note, you’ll need to dine outside.

Bee’s Knees

Located in the heart of the Botanic Gardens, Bee’s Knees is a wonderfully whimsical place to get a meal or drink after a walk. With picnic basket sets available, as well as a menu with a mix of Eastern and Western dishes, this is a great place for winding down with your furry friends.

If you’re looking for a place to give your furry kids a treat, look no further than Wooftopia, a dog-focused pet café. With meals made just for them that you can personally customise on their website, as well as a menu just for humans, this place is the perfect spot to spoil them and spend a lovely afternoon.
