Renting a yacht in Singapore is a great way to take a break from the city, without leaving the country. Starting from as little as $650, you can get a yacht booking from Sing Yachts for a weekday cruise to the Southern Islands. Read on to find out what to expect from a Singapore yacht charter, including our team’s experience on the Argon!
What’s included in a yacht booking?
The minimum duration for renting a yacht is four hours. The boat will sail from either ONE°15 Marina, Sentosa Cove or Marina at Keppel Bay, to the Southern Islands or Lazarus Island.
Once the boat has reached the island, it docks near enough for you to swim to the shore. Or you can engage in water activities such as swimming, stand-up paddle boarding, giant water floating mat and kayaking.
If you prefer to remain dry, the outdoor decks provide great views of the surroundings. Coffee and tea are included in each yacht booking, too. Want more relaxation? The air-conditioned sleeping cabins come with comfortable bedding. Each cabin has an adjacent private bathroom with separate shower and toilet facilities.
As you cruise back, you’ll get to see the city skyline on the outdoor deck or boom.
Manning each boat are experienced crew who are helpful and mindful of safety. They even happily double up as photographers for group photos!
Why opt for a Singapore yacht charter?
Besides the feeling of going on a mini holiday away from the city, a getaway on a private yacht provides an intimate setting for an outing. More importantly, renting a yacht in Singapore for an event allows guests to fully engage in the moment. That means fond memories for everyone!
Sing Yachts has a big fleet of boats that can accommodate from two to 55 people. Whether it’s date night for two, a family outing for four, a birthday celebration for 20 or a wedding ceremony for 50, you’ll find a boat to meet your needs.

A yacht charter from Sing Yachts starts from as low as a few hundred dollars, up to a few thousand dollars. The pricing varies based on the timing of the booking, the size of the boat and the number of people.
Here’s what the EL team had to say about our day out on our Sing Yachts charter
“Getting out to the islands off Singapore and into the sea is always good. I swam to the beach and floated on the large foam mat out the back of the yacht. Apart from being a lovely way to spend time with people, I think a yacht charter is a great way to see the city. We had fun trying to decide which building was which, and what ships were from where. The staff were also really helpful and friendly.”
– Rebecca
“They had tons of floaties and equipment for water sports – the stand-up paddle board was so much fun! The crew members made sure that, as a total beginner, I felt safe and comfortable with everything. There were also some lovely touches on the yacht. The hot showers in the two bathrooms, complete with shampoo and shower gel, were just heavenly after our salty swims.”
– Cherry
“The Argon offers everything you need for a pleasant afternoon getaway. The foredeck provides a relaxing spot to enjoy the breeze. Or you can take it easy in the air conditioned cabin with a cup of coffee, which is included. The crew was very accommodating and flexible with the timing. Once we finished the water activities, we moved to the open sea to enjoy the Singapore skyline.”
– Judit
“It was a pleasant experience on the Argon, which was a good size for us. It’s fully equipped with equipment and amenities. For those opting out of doing the water activities, the decks available were nice and comfortable for winding down. Renting a yacht in Singapore and being out in the sea for a few hours is always enjoyable. We all had a good time!”
– Siti
“I was pleasantly surprised by the large selection of Nespresso coffee flavours – it’s a touch of luxury even when we’re out at sea. On the cruise back, we sat comfortably on the boom netting, taking in Singapore’s city skyline from a different perspective. The crew made us feel safe and taken care of at all times, which allowed us to fully enjoy our time on the boat.”
