25th February 2023 by Expat Living 4 Min Read

Hair loss is often a by-product of ageing, but it can also happen at any age due to genetic and environmental factors. If you are plagued by bald spots or thinning hair, these hair loss shampoos, treatments and hair replacement alternatives each tackle the same problem in a different way – see which one sounds right for you.

Rehair Lab – Hair replacement services for men

Are you stressed over bald spots? Male pattern baldness often emerges when men reach middle age – and it can seriously affect self-esteem. Rehair Lab is a beauty clinic specialising in Hair Replacement services for men, focusing on effective and non-invasive hair restoration solutions to achieve a natural, full head of hair. Unlike surgical hair transplants or other hair treatments, these hair replacement systems offer instant results and are customised to suit the needs of each individual.

Rehair Lab: Hair Replacement Services for Men with bald spots

The Rehair Lab Hair Replacement System, also known as a toupee, is made of 100 percent human hair that’s specially designed to seamlessly blend with your own hair and provide a natural appearance. It can be cut, shaped and styled just like your own hair, and comes in a range of shapes and sizes to suit your look. Say goodbye to bald spots!

The experienced team of specialists are passionate about the art of hair; they’ll customise the headpiece to match your hair colour, face shape and lifestyle. You can regain a full head of hair instantly, without any experience of pain. Best of all, the hair system won’t affect any of your daily activities. You can shower, exercise and even swim while wearing your hair replacement.

Special offer: New customers can enjoy the Hair Replacement System for just $468 (usually $688).

The Powder Shampoo – A cruelty-free hair loss shampoo

Is your hair thinning as you age? The Invigorating & Stimulating Shampoo for Thinning and Ageing Hair from The Powder Shampoo is formulated to provide a sustainable solution to your hair woes. It’s a 100 percent clean, vegan, water-free and plastic-free solution to bad hair days. It’s also cruelty-free and doesn’t use any animal by-products.

The Powder Shampoo Hair Loss Treatment

The hair loss shampoo’s powder formula lathers easily when it comes in contact with water, so you can wash and condition your hair without using any solvents or harsh chemicals. And, because the powder is made from 100 percent all-natural ingredients, it’s gentle on your skin and doesn’t contain any toxic chemicals. For instance, liquorice roots are used to stimulate the hair roots, and coconut to cleanse impurities without stripping your skin’s natural pH.

Another bonus: the packaging is biodegradable, so you don’t have to worry about contributing to landfills or harming the environment with your usage. The bottles are made of recyclable aluminium that can be used for a lifetime.

The hair loss shampoo itself is designed for all different types of hair – from fine and thin to thick – and it cleanses without causing damage or weighing hair down. The powder is also scented with essential oils that add a light scent to your hair while adding moisture and life at the same time. You can take advantage of these calming effects before bedtime.

The product comes in three sizes: a 100g bottle that gives you approximately 100 washes (depending on hair length and density), a 100g pouch that you can use to refill your bottles, and a 20g travel-sized mini bottle that you can bring along wherever you go.

Hairdreams – An anti-hair-loss system

Are you struggling with chronic hair loss and bald spots? If the cause is genetic, making lifestyle and dietary changes won’t be sufficient to make the problem go away. To resolve the issue, Hairdreams has developed a new hair-loss treatment in close collaboration with scientists, doctors and universities.

Hairdreams hair loss treatments

During the course of an in-vitro study by the Department of Dermatology at the University of Lübeck, it was shown that excessive genetic hair loss could be significantly reduced within just a few weeks, and that consistent treatment over three months could increase hair volume by as much as 23 percent. This is owing to the specially developed Stop&Grow 2 Phase System that uses scientific methods to promote hair growth. The first phase utilises Phytohormones – plant-based hormones that block hair-loss-causing DHT and awaken “resting” hair roots – and Tetra-G-Collagen, which anchors hair roots and prevents hair loss. The second phase, known as Taurin-Booster, activates micro-circulation and amplifies the effectiveness of the main active substances.

A subsequent study at the Dermatest Institute in Münster assessed the dermatological safety of the treatment and rated it as “excellent”. If you’re suffering from hair loss or thinning, you can reach out for a consultation to see what Hairdreams can do for you.

Tried and Tested

Hair Growth+ InCLINIC by Nourkrin We hear the verdict from two women who’ve been using Nourkrin for their hair-loss issues.

Customer #1

“I’d been experiencing thinning hair for four to six months and using hair fall shampoo, hair tonic and hair massages to help to increase growth when I heard about Nourkrin on Instagram. I’ve now been taking Nourkrin supplements for about six months, and I can see hair growth – my baby hairs are coming out. So I would definitely recommend it to others.”

Customer #2

“My hair has always been on the thinner, finer side, but I started experiencing increased hair loss a few years back when I started styling my hair more often (dyeing and so on). So I researched foods that could promote hair growth, and I bought a ton of hair loss shampoos, hair growth serums and supplements to try! I also stopped styling my hair as much.

I was introduced to Nourkrin by a friend, and I had another online acquaintance tell me that his wife’s hair growth had been tremendous since taking it. I’ve now been using the product for two months, and it’s nothing short of amazing!

I’ve seen lots of baby hair all over my scalp – something I’ve not experienced with other hair growth products. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, male or female, who is experiencing hair loss.”
