World Animal Day 2026
3 October - 4 October
When it comes to caring for animals, we all have a part to play. This World Animal Day, the Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS), with the support of the National Library Board and the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), is bringing this village together.
Whether you’re a pet owner, an animal lover or simply want to learn more about all things animal-related, come join World Animal Day on 3 to 4 October, 10am to 5pm at The Plaza, National Library Building.
Come meet animal groups and industry professionals, take part in hands-on experiences and engaging programmes, and learn more about the different roles involved in animal health and welfare.
