Looking for a date night with a difference this May? Willow presents a two-night dining experience in collaboration with AKAR from Kuala Lumpur, featuring Chef Aidan Low, whose restaurant recently earned a Michelin star.
At AKAR – “root” in Malay – Chef Aidan draws inspiration from his homeland, one of the world’s oldest rainforests, working with native produce, wild herbs and indigenous ingredients to showcase a lesser-known side of Malaysia. At Willow, Chef Nicolas Tam brings his signature ingredient-driven approach, blending Asian influences with refined French technique.
Together, the two chefs come together not just in collaboration, but in friendship – a shared journey across kitchens, disciplines and land. Expect a menu centred on heritage ingredients, craftsmanship and storytelling through food.
