11 great spots to satisfy your pizza craving

7th June 2018 by Jayme Chong 4 Min Read

Regardless of your preference – from a classic Margherita to a spicy Pepperoni; from thick crust to thin; and from delivery-to-your-door to dining at a classy restaurant – pizza is just about everyone’s most-loved comfort food. Happily, in Singapore, we’ve got loads of great pizza places; here’s a list of 11 of the best of them.

#1 Spizza

After launching its first outlet in 2002, this local pizzeria has since opened more stores across the island. While Spizza may be known for its thin-crusted wood-fired pizzas, there’s also a great range of salads, soups, homemade pastas and desserts available. Our tip? Start with the newly introduced portobello mushrooms ($14), which come topped with Bolognese sauce and mozzarella, then share a side of Parma e melone ($14) – a classic Parma ham and rockmelon appetiser – before tucking into delish pastas and pizzas. New items on the menu include flavours with a localised twist like the Kiara, featuring tandoori chicken, and the Reena, a beef rendang pizza. If you’re a fan of grilled skewers, go for Yasmina, a sweet-savoury mix of satay chicken and pineapples. Feeling indecisive? Picky eaters can create their own pizza combination (starts from $16), too!

Psst… Spizza delivers island-wide, too. Order online, through Spizza’s mobile app or call 6377 7773.

Jayme lives and breathes pop culture, so don't expect her to stop blabbering if you bring up Lady Gaga, Lana Del Rey, Jennifer Aniston, Kendall Jenner or F.R.I.E.N.D.S (there's obviously more!). She also dreams of travelling and living abroad - New York City to be exact, which probably explains her aspiration to work in media and publishing.
