If you’re a long-time reader of our mag (hi, friend!), you’ll know that we enjoy a tipple as much as the next person – especially a quality glass of chilled wine! That’s why we’ve done the legwork and sourced our favourite online alcohol stores – many of which offer free delivery. Whether you’re sourcing craft beer for your next dinner party or looking for good organic wine, here are our top eight sites to visit.
We can’t rave enough about this Italian wine retailer, which offers next-day delivery island-wide. Bacco Wines stocks an array of organic reds, whites, rosé, bubbles and dessert wines, imported from boutique wineries in Italy. Browsing their website, it’s clear these guys are serious about their vino. They offer customers detailed info about each wine sold – including grape variety, region and winery – and you won’t have to worry about the state of your orders, as the wines are transported and stored in temperature controlled conditions, with refrigerated vessels and cold warehouse storage. Apart from wine delivery, Bacco also hosts regular wine tasting events at their cosy office space, where you’ll get to try healthy wines at an affordable price.
How delivery works: Delivery is free for orders above $300. Your order will be delivered one to three days after payment is received. You can choose to have it delivered in the morning (9am to 1pm), lunchtime (11am to 2pm), afternoon (1.30pm to 5.30pm) or evening (7pm to 8pm). Alternatively, self-collect your wines from their centrally-located office near Robertson Quay during office hours (10am to 7pm weekdays).
If you’re looking for bottles at discounted bulk prices, look no further. From regular drinking wines to Grand cru wines, blended to single malt whiskies, champagnes to sparkling water, as well as wine glasses and accessories, CornerStone Wines is a one-stop shop for all your imbibing needs. Founded in 1938, this wine and spirits distributor has since launched offices in 28 countries, including Thailand and China. The wine merchant has its own label, too; the Classic French Red is a medium-bodied red that offers generous aromas of berries, while the Sauvignon Blanc from Chile has a fresh finish with apricot aromas. Prices are most often much cheaper than retail and duty-free stores, so it’s the perfect site to hit if you’re buying in bulk!
How delivery works: Enjoy free delivery for purchases above $750. Orders received after 4pm will be delivered within three days. Emailcorporate07.firstname.lastname@example.org to place your order.

Choose from a huge variety of products at various prices; find entry level, premium, special-edition and rare collectors’ items among spirits, wine, beers and more. Don’t miss their happy hour deals, too, where you’ll find favourite picks going at massively discounted prices.

With a name that stands for Through the Grapevine, TTG Wines sources sustainable and organic wines from family-run vineyards that set themselves apart from mass-produced, run-on-the-mill wineries. For value-for-money options, try Mount Brown Estate and Wild River from New Zealand, as well as IlLauri from Italy, and you’ll be blown away by the quality for the price you pay. Prices start from as low as $25 per bottle, and the shopping process is easy as wines are separated into categories like “organic” and “region”. Don’t forget to check out the Vineyard of the Month sale for discounts on bottles!

Wine to Share
This online retailer specialises in South African wines, which are some of the best – and best-valued – wines in the world. The concept is simple: Wine to Share buys in bulk so you can enjoy lower prices direct from the vineyard. To join in the shipment, you’ll need to order at least 18 bottles, and you’ll get to choose up to three types of wines. After which, you pay half of your total bill as a deposit, then you’re billed the remaining half of your balance one week before the wine is delivered to your door. The team personally sources and procures bottles each time round, so what’s available changes with each shipment. Prices start from as low as $25 per bottle, and some of the top-rated South African wines go at only $60. Top picks include Backsberg and Boschendal.
How delivery works: As Wine to Share works on a pre-order basis, your bottles will be delivered in around four to five weeks after you place your order. Delivery costs $20 for up to 100 bottles.
Looking for premium, rare wines for a special occasion? The extensive selection at Fine Wines is any wine lover’s dream come true. Specialising in vintage Bordeaux and Burgundy drops, as well as some Italian and Spanish, this wine retailer takes pride in provenance, so you won’t have to worry about where each bottle came from or how it was shipped or stored. They’re currently planning to launch an online shopping cart, but in the meantime, you can order by sending an email to email@example.com or walk into their wine-cellar office.
How delivery works: Delivery is free for purchases $500 and above, otherwise it’s a flat rate of $30.
Pop Up Wine
Want wine and want it fast? Pop Up Wine exclusively stocks medal-winning wine, or wines rated 90+/100, and it offers same-day delivery (two time slots each day), island-wide, seven days a week. Just order your bottles by 12 noon and you can be enjoying a tipple by late afternoon. Started three years ago by Australian expats David Harker and Isadora Noble, both from families with winemaking roots, Pop Up Wine evolved out of the couple’s love of wine, and the tricky task of finding quality wine in Singapore for less than an airfare back to Oz!
How delivery works: Enjoy free same-day delivery when you order at least 24 bottles, or pay a $7 delivery fee for one to three bottles.
For a dose of small-batch, artisanal wine that aren’t readily available in Singapore, check out this wine club, which supports winemakers who practice minimal intervention and are often overlooked. WineMasons works on a subscription basis; you choose the number of bottles you wish to order (three, six or 12), then select the wine – red, white or mixed – and opt for it to be delivered to you monthly. In addition to monthly wine deliveries, members of the club get regular invites to tastings, winemaker visits and parties.
Psst… Enjoy 10 percent off your first order with the code “expat10“!
Tucked away in a quiet corner of UE Square, this hidden gem offers a splendid selection of craft wines, beers, sakes, ciders and more. One of our favourite picks is New Zealander brew Zeffer Red Apple Cider – completely refreshing on a hot afternoon. For wines, check out artisanal labels like Momento Mori (Australia) and Fuchs Und Hase (Austria).
How delivery works: Free for orders over $199, otherwise it costs $15 to get it delivered to your doorstep. You can opt to collect your bottles in store, too.
