Stroller rental in Singapore plus car seats & baby carriers!

26th January 2023 by Patricea Chow 4 Min Read

https://expatliving.sg/baby-carrier-stroller-rental-singapore/

Babies grow out of their car seat, pram or baby carrier very quickly in the first five years. “It would be so convenient for parents if there was stroller rental in Singapore or somewhere to rent a car seat,” I thought.

CONRAD MARCEL YONG, thought the same too. He conceived Wee Whizz with a range of baby gear to help parents alleviate the need to transport bulky baby gear as they zipped around Singapore or travelled overseas with three kids. We ask him what are the options they provide for parents in Singapore and those who visit the city.

How did the idea of Wee Whizz stroller rental in Singapore come about?

Since our first-born, we’ve tried many types of prams, car seats and baby carriers. Even when travelling on long weekends or for road trips, we wanted the very best for our children including a pram or baby carrier that provides comfort and security, is lightweight and compact. We wanted to whizz around with ease with our young children and this is how the idea for Wee Whizz was born.

What issues are you addressing for families as well as visitors to Singapore?

We found that you can’t get everything that you want in one stroller or baby carrier. Whether it’s daily commuting or holidays, travelling is made easy when using the right pram or car seat for the duration needed and for a reasonable price.

Rather than purchasing and storing a new one as your child grows, Wee Whizz offers a solution when you need to rent a car seat in Singapore for journeys overseas or a stroller rental in Singapore for daily walks.

How’s the process of renting a pram, baby carrier or car seat from Wee Whizz?

Select the pram, baby carrier or car seat that you need from our website, weewhizz.com. Indicate on the booking the dates you require the item and include the location details for collection and return.

The final quote of the rental will be calculated and include any discounts for long-term hire. The cost of delivery and return pick-up is included for a rental period that’s more than four days.

Your selected pram, car seat or baby carrier can be delivered to your home or any hotel in Singapore – even the airport. It can also be returned at different locations too. It’s so convenient for you!

There are so many choices, any tips on which one to rent?

If you’re not sure, you can always chat with us on WhatsApp or call us at 8174 3638.

I plan on travelling out of Singapore with my young one. Am I able to rent a car seat, pram or baby carrier from you?

Yes! Just let us know which country you’re travelling to and the age, weight and height of your child. From this, we can recommend a car seat, pram or baby carrier that best suits your needs.

We also do short-term hire, which can be useful for families going on day trips in Singapore or Malaysia. Previously, when visitors from overseas came to see us in Singapore, they either brought their trusted but bulky pram along, or they didn’t bring one at all. Trips to the zoo, Sentosa, playgrounds or parks become convenient with our range of car seats, baby carriers and stroller rental in Singapore.

Do I have to clean the item before I return it?

There’s no requirement to clean before returning it to us. We will sanitise and clean it before it goes to a new customer.

Can I do a trial?

Some customers trial the stroller, car seat or baby carrier before deciding if they’d like to buy the same model. You can hire our range on a day basis for this.

Is there anything else you can do?

We also recondition prams – that is, we give old prams a new life. This service is quoted based on the condition of the pram.

Hear from happy customers

“I would definitely recommended WeeWhizz to tourists travelling to Singapore with little kids. Conrad is very accommodating and easy to talk. It was a very smooth transaction – the pram was in superb condition and had a very reasonable rent price. Really made our trip to Singapore with our four year old toddler easy.” – Jamella Baldeo, rented the GB Swan basic pram

“We already have an Urban Kanga, but decided to rent a car seat in Singapore for a trip two week trip to the UK with a four years and an 18 month. The seat was in perfect condition and easy to transport. It met all the EU/UK safety regulations and the pickup/drop off worked around our schedule. I highly recommend WeeWhizz.” – DB, rented the Urban Kanga

“We initially wanted to hire the YoYo for a trip to the UK with two toddlers and a baby. Given the age of our kids, WeeWhizz advised us to take the Keenz instead, as it went completely flat for the baby but could also sit up for the toddlers. This advice was invaluable as the baby spent most of the time sleeping in the pram. It’s also light, making it perfect for travelling. WeeWhiz dropped the pram at the airport for us, which was amazing service. I highly recommend them for stroller rental in Singapore to any families travelling or having visitors coming to Singapore!” – Jacqui McQ, rented the Keenz Air Plus 2.0 stroller
