Various bowls, filled with joy

Pind Balluchi
Pind Balluchi is a fabulous new restaurant in Clarke Quay. A classy, comfortable joint which is as good a location for a cheeky post-work cocktail as it is for a five-course Indian meal. However, the food is king; PB delivers exquisite recipes, rare and exotic spices and the authentic grilling techniques that create incredible flavours. The banging House tunes that pound out after 10pm transforms it into one of Clarke Quay’s top nightspots.

Punjab Grill
Set up by cookery show host and former Times of India food columnist Jiggs Kalra, this restaurant is one of the most researched, lightest and European leaning in the Indian fine dining market. Quality ingredients and modern presentation delivered at Kalra’s only overseas restaurant, takes diners on a journey through cities from Lahore to Rawalpindi. Main courses range from $30-$55, but well worth the money.

The food, the concept and ultimate goal remained the same from day one – to satisfy homesick Indians with hearty food that is as close to home cooked as possible. Main courses from $6 to $20.
