Pind Balluchi is a fabulous new restaurant in Clarke Quay. A classy, comfortable joint which is as good a location for a cheeky post-work cocktail as it is for a five-course Indian meal. However, the food is king; PB delivers exquisite recipes, rare and exotic spices and the authentic grilling techniques that create incredible flavours. The banging House tunes that pound out after 10pm transforms it into one of Clarke Quay’s top nightspots.

Founded in the 1950s, this family-run South-Indian restaurant got its start when M Veerasamy – an Indian immigrant who came to work for a group of merchants – opened his first place at Tank Road. The food, the concept and ultimate goal remained the same from day one – to satisfy homesick Indians with hearty food that is as close to home cooked as possible. Main courses from $6 to $20.
