There’s a new AIS scholarship in Singapore. The programme provides tuition fee reduction, and academic and skillset development for those entering Years 9 to 12 in 2027. There are two pathways for AIS students in Singapore. Find out more information and how to apply.
Two AIS scholarships in Singapore to support various talents
AIS believes that students need the space to grow, and that excellence comes in many forms, not just exam results. That’s why the AIS Scholarship Program was created to provide students in Singapore with opportunities and recognition beyond academics.
By offering financial support, recognising diverse talents and valuing contribution to the community, AIS is addressing the need for a more inclusive and holistic education, where both achievement and character are equally important. This reflects the overall offerings at the school, too, where strong academics combine with opportunities in sport, the arts and leadership, all within a supportive international community.
Grounded in AIS’s core values of Achievement, Respect and Opportunity, the programme celebrates AIS students in Singapore who contribute both inside and outside the classroom. It recognises academic excellence, leadership, creativity and a commitment to making a meaningful impact.
“World-ready students are those who have the skills and mindset to adapt and succeed globally,” says Steve Lupton, Head of School at AIS. “This scholarship programme reflects our commitment to recognising and nurturing students who embody these qualities.”
The programme offers two pathways to support the many various talents that students possess. Both scholarships support students academically while shaping them into capable, well-rounded individuals who can pursue their goals with confidence.
#1 General AIS scholarship with up to 50 percent tuition fee reduction
This option is designed for high-performing students who demonstrate strong academic results (top 10 percent in standardised tests or examinations) and active involvement in co-curricular activities such as sports, the arts or clubs.
#2 Specialist AIS scholarship with up to 25% tuition fee reduction
This option is for students with a clear passion or talent in Leadership and Service, Sports, STEM and Innovation, and The Arts.
Students applying for the Specialist scholarship in Singapore should demonstrate achievements through projects, competitions or representation at school or national level.
Flexible academic pathways to university and beyond
One of AIS’s standout features is its flexible academic pathways. Students can choose from internationally recognised programmes including the Cambridge IGCSE, International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), Higher School Certificate (HSC) and IB Courses+.
According to the school, this breadth of offerings provides students with a personalised route to university and beyond, allowing them to shape their own journey based on personal strengths and ambitions.
AIS also has a track record of 100 percent graduates receiving university offers and 99 percent securing places at top-choice institutions. Alumni have gone on to leading universities such as Stanford University, the University of Cambridge, the University of Melbourne and the National University of Singapore.
