The Australian International School (AIS) Singapore is celebrating the success of its Class of 2025. Both the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and the Higher School Certificate (HSC) cohorts achieved exceptional academic outcomes, including the Australian Territory Admission Rank (ATAR).
The AIS team says: “As a non‑selective school, we continue to demonstrate impressive year‑on‑year performance, underscoring a commitment to balancing academic excellence with personal growth, wellbeing and holistic development.”
Strong International Baccalaureate Diploma results
The IBDP cohort of AIS delivered one of the school’s strongest academic performances in recent years, achieving results significantly above global averages.
Some of the highlights include an average score of 34.9 versus a global score of 29.3, a top score of 45, and 16 percent of students achieving 40+ points. Additionally, 41 percent of AIS graduates received a Bilingual International Baccalaureate Diploma. These results continue a six‑year pattern of exceptional achievement at the school.
Excellent ATAR outcomes
AIS says that its HSC 2025 cohort demonstrated equally impressive outcomes, showcasing student readiness for competitive global university admissions.
40 percent of the school’s Year 12 cohort achieved an ATAR of 90 or above. What’s more, the combined cohort average of 85 puts AIS students in the top 15 percent nationally.
What does these results mean for university admissions? In short, they help to open doors to globally renowned institutions across the US, UK, Australia and Asia. These include the University of Melbourne, Columbia University, University College London, National University of Singapore, HKU, Seoul National University and the University of Tokyo, among many others.
Celebrating a well‑rounded, world‑ready AIS Singapore cohort
Beyond their impressive scores, AIS graduates continue to embody the school’s mission of nurturing world‑ready young adults.
The school says that the Class of 2025 demonstrated excellence not only academically but also in leadership, service, creativity and sport. This reflects the AIS commitment to developing balanced, compassionate and globally engaged individuals.
As Head of Secondary Peter Ellis shared in his public message, this cohort’s achievements reflect “academic depth, world readiness and multilingual excellence”, with results that stand among the strongest in the school’s recent history.
