Little Artists Art Studio organised the Savants international art exhibition from 12 to 26 June this year in Paris. Young artists from 12 years old made their international debut here and some took home a young artist award.
Supporting young artists
Savants aims to provide art lovers and artists with a look into the future of contemporary art, through the eyes of the young artists. The students unveiled their contemporary pieces at the Linda Farrell Gallery, a contemporary art gallery established in 2006.Many of the pieces were created by students with special needs, where their unique perspectives, creativity and sophistication attracted purchase offers from Parisians throughout the duration of the event.
Over the 15 days, the event attracted a diverse crowd that included artists, academics and media personalities. Distinguished guests also dropped in; they include Pujya Priyadarshni, the Press and Cultural Secretary at the Embassy of India, France & Principality of Monaco, and Sister Patricia, Head of the Brahma Kumaris in France.
International recognition with awards
The exhibiting art students also presented their work to Anoush Mask, the director of the gallery, and Alain Bazard, a senior master artist. Both seasoned professionals were impressed by the knowledge and confidence displayed by each young art student during their individual interviews.
Alain remarked, “If their ages hadn’t been mentioned alongside the artwork, no one would have guessed that these pieces were created by children.”
All the students were presented trophies and certificates for a young artist award from Alain, marking their successful debut on the international stage. This was a powerful affirmation of their potential and a very rewarding experience for the young art students from Little Artists Art Studio.
