A unique farmer’s market concept is sprouting up in Singapore and we couldn’t be more excited! Held in collaboration with Little Farms, Garden Vibes is Singapore’s first-ever Farmer’s Market and Wellness Festival and it’ll be taking place on the rooftop of myVillage in Serangoon Garden on 25 and 26 May (9am to 9pm). So, what can you expect?
More than just a traditional farmers market, Garden Vibes is aimed at promoting overall wellbeing. Alongside eyeing up fresh all-natural produce and artisanal goods from Little Farms at the market, visitors can connect with producers from all the world before joining a morning yoga session or wellness workshop. Later in the day, families can bond over live music and parents can drop their children at the Camp Asia Kids Zone while they try out fitness classes from Singapore’s favourite studios. The two-day event is a treat for the body, mind and soul!
Here’s seven things you’ll love about this free neighbourhood event
#1 Meet international farmers and producers (9am to 6pm)
This farmer’s market brings together over 20 acclaimed producers and farmers from New Zealand, Spain, France and Australia. Big “little” farmers to keep an eye out for include Ben Bostock of Bostock Brothers Organic Chicken, Nick Carey of Green Meadows Beef, Georgina Terrana of vegan and keto-friendly ROHO ice cream and J & Jaclyn, the founding sisters of playful plant-based desserts Jammy’s. Don’t leave without chatting to Eva Pemper about her family’s remarkable winemaking legacy, from humble beginnings in a garage to crafting wines during the war in Croatia!
#2 Healing sound bath experiences (7.30pm to 9pm) SOLD OUT
Hailed as one of Bali’s top healers, Shervin Boloorian will be offering 1.5-hour immersive sound bath sessions.
