Where to buy or rent fancy dress costumes

7th October 2022 by Expat Living 3 Min Read

If you love dressing up, then Halloween is doubtless a day you really look forward to. You can choose fancy dress costumes that are scary or sexy (or both!), or just plain weird…! Here’s a list of the best fancy dress stores in Singapore if you want to buy clothes and accessories fairly cheaply, or rent costumes. Tip: The standard rental period is usually three days and most places require a deposit of around $100 to $300. Check them out; the party might be small this year, but it can still be fun!

Ministry of Costumes

Catering to everyone from babies to adults, Ministry of Costumes can supply outfits and accessories for individuals and families to groups of any size – from 10 people up to 500! With 30 years of experience under their belt, the company has over 25,000 costumes on offer, with themes ranging from Alice in Wonderland, Disney princess and superheroes to Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. Rental starts from just $40 for a three-day period. Visit the store and take your time to browse through the extensive collection; there’s plenty of seating and no limits on the number of costumes that can be tried on.
