UWS STEM Fest 2026

This year’s UWS STEM Fest on 27 June 2026 with the theme, Shaping Tomorrow, Today, has a renewed focus on preparing young women and girls for a rapidly evolving technology-driven world, where STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) skills are increasingly critical to future readiness.
The festival is open to female students, parents, educators and the public. This year’s range of key activities designed to engage and inspire participants include:
- Speed mentoring: Small group mentoring sessions with STEM professionals offering guidance on academic pathways and career opportunities, alongside real-world insights into the industry.
- STEM workshops: Interactive sessions and hands-on activities exploring fields such as AI, robotics, cybersecurity, architecture and finance
. - Interactive booths: Exhibition-style showcases
where participants can engage directly with industry experts and learn about the latest innovations and career pathways in the STEM verticals. - Career launchpad: A dedicated space to support career readiness including professional headshots, elevator pitch coaching, and interview preparation.
Mr Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State at the Ministry of Digital Development and Information and the Ministry of Health will be the Guest of Honour.
