About Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview
Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview is a Catholic school in the Jesuit tradition, providing a holistic education for young men in Years 5 to 12 since 1880.
Set on a 110-acre campus overlooking the Lane Cove River in Sydney, the College offers both day and boarding education. With around 1,600 students, including approximately 310 boarders, Riverview welcomes young men from across Australia, including regional and metropolitan communities. The College is not accredited to enrol international students, and applicants must be Australian citizens.
Boarding at Riverview is about much more than life in the boarding houses. Weekends provide students with opportunities to enjoy the College’s sporting facilities, take part in organised activities and explore Sydney through outings to the movies, beaches, bushwalks and other excursions.
Boarders also have opportunities for casual leave, giving them the independence to visit local shops in Lane Cove or travel into the city and experience all that Sydney has to offer.
Through boarding, students become part of a strong and supportive community while developing independence, responsibility and a sense of service to others.
