Usher in the year-end festivities with hearty roasts, sumptuous yule log cakes, and more at the Christmas buffets and New Year’s feasts offered by five-star hotel The Westin Singapore.
Take in splendid city views at Seasonal Tastes on Level 32 while tucking into an impressive spread of holiday dishes. Kick-start the Christmas celebrations with the Christmas Eve lunch buffet ($78 per adult, $39 per child), featuring highlights such as lobster bisque, maple- and miso-glazed salmon, and panettone bread pudding with vanilla anglaise.
Feasting extends to dinner time, as well as Christmas lunch and dinner buffets the next day (all $98 per adult, $49 per child). Look forward to festive table mainstays like truffle honey-glazed Christmas ham, rolled and roasted turkey stuffed with Mum’s bread and cranberry, barbeque St Louis pork ribs, accompanied by a range of seafood on ice, pasta cooked à la minute, and local favourites including Singapore chilli crab and Canton salt-baked spring chicken. Don’t miss the desserts, too; we’re eyeing the Maracaibo chocolate whiskey chestnut yule log, or perhaps the cream cheese pistachio berries yule log! If you’ve already made plans for Christmas Day, there’s a one-for-one deal on the Boxing Day buffet lunch ($78 per adult, $39 per child) on 26 December so you can have double the foodie fun – major score!
Buffet prices include a glass of prosecco, beer, wine, soft drink, or juice, while child prices are for those aged four to 12 years old.
New Year’s Buffets
Why not splash out and celebrate the year’s milestones over a New Year’s Eve dinner buffet ($108 per adult, $54 per child), complete with a glass of champagne, beer, wine, soft drink, or juice, in hand. Show stoppers include a massive 5kg hand-pulled Italian burrata, freshly shucked French and Canadian oysters, as well as a whole roasted Australian pork filled with lobster tail, smoked sausages and mushrooms. Then, start the year proper with a lunch buffet on New Year’s Day ($58 per adult, $29 per child), where you’ll get to grub on unlimited servings of hearty roasts like grilled Australian tomahawk steak and roasted pork legs glazed with truffle maple.

If you prefer something on the lighter end, Cook & Brew is offering a four-course Christmas Eve dinner menu, featuring mouthwatering mains like barbecue turkey meatballs, Prince Edward Island black mussels in Thai green curry, and handmade ricotta cavatelli.

If you’re dining at home instead, the hotel has a spread of festive takeaways for order. Must-tries include the vanilla, raspberry and pistachio cheese log cake ($65), as well as other Christmas treats like brandy fruit cake ($55) and nougat ($10). Traditional roasts like pineapple-glazed ham ($140) and homemade sausage ($115) are also on the menu, but if you’re looking for something different, there are interesting fusion dishes worth trying. The Ee-fu noodles ($75) is braised with roast turkey, wild mushrooms, and a touch of truffle oil, while the Canton wok-fried claypot rice ($75) is prepared with smoked country ham, seafood, asparagus and spiced walnuts. Collection is at Daily Treats, Level 1, between 10am to 11am and 3pm to 4pm.
