Dr Yvonne Goh
Having completed her medical education in Dublin and Singapore, and trained under the mentorship of internationally renowned dermatologists and plastic surgeons, Dr Goh, brainchild behind Yvonne Goh Aesthetics, believes firmly in a non-invasive approach to beauty and in preventative aesthetic treatments.
Most popular facial treatment at Yvonne Goh Aesthetics: The Collagen Boosting Stem Cell Facial
First, the skin is prepped with ultrasonic cleansing for better penetration of the facial products. Next, both ultrasound and iontophoresis (micro-currents) are used to deliver the prescribed formulated cocktail into the deeper layers of the skin. This not only improves the benefits of the ingredients but prolongs the hydrating and plumping effects of the treatment, too. The facial is accompanied by a relaxing massage to further work the nutrients into the skin, and is finally topped off with a refreshing mask. This pampering lasts for one and a half hours, the final result is that you walk out of the clinic with a glowing complexion.
Signature Skincare: Yvonne Goh Aesthetics’ skincare arsenal includes hero products for a radiant, glowing complexion. In high demand are: Hydra-C Intense Serum, which contains skin-plumping hyaluronic acid and vitamin C; Retinol Illuminator, which improves skin texture and diminishes wrinkles; and Multivitamin Sunscreen with SPF30, a handy moisturiser, multivitamin and sun protection cream all in one. What’s more, the range is also ideal for aftercare following aesthetic treatments such as Botox, fillers and Ultherapy.
Most recommended product: Hydra-C Intense Serum is a real antioxidant treat for the skin. It’s a lightweight, oil-free serum containing five percent stabilised Vitamin C that is readily absorbed to brighten the skin. Combined with the two other key ingredients, lactic acid and sodium hyaluronate (one of our body’s natural hydrators), the result is skin with a brighter, more even appearance.
Top skincare tip: It’s always better to prevent than try to reverse the signs of ageing. Investing in healthy skin makes much more sense than investing in makeup and concealers to mask a problem. Start by arming yourself with a good sunscreen for daily use, together with products containing vitamins and antioxidants to help neutralise havoc-causing free radicals.
Dr Rohan Mendis
With over 15 years of experience in advanced medical aesthetics, the founder of Mendis Aesthetics specialises in minimally invasive procedures, skin rejuvenation and tightening, as well as face and body sculpting.
Most popular facial treatment at Mendis Aesthetics: Transdermal Therapy
It’s an innovative two-step, non-invasive rejuvenating treatment that uses a combination of microdermabrasion and dermoelectroporation (DEP) techniques to safely and effectively introduce active retinol to revitalise the skin. First, microdermabrasion is performed to resurface the complexion, removing dead cells and diminishing any scar tissue. Next, we apply an ampoule of retinol to the face and massage this in using a transdermal hand-piece. The procedure has minimal downtime and results are immediately visible on the skin, with improvements in smoothness, firmness, clarity and brightness. It also has positive effects over pore size, fine lines and acne.
Signature Skincare: Mendis Aesthetics carries a full range of skin treats, with everything from cleansers, toners and gel moisturisers to scrubs and sunblock. Hot items are the Multi-Action Cleanser, which contains papaya enzymes to gently slough away dead skin cells; and the Ageless Regenerative Serum, which contains hyaluronic acid Pro Vitamin B5 to soothe, protect and moisturise after treatments.
Most recommended product: I continually recommend our Ageless Serum, which contains anti-inflammatory, protective and moisturising ingredients such as hyaluronic acid for the complexion. It helps to restore and maintain your skin’s natural moisture barrier, keeping it velvety-soft and smooth around the clock.
Top skincare tip: Never forget to use sunblock to protect your complexion from harmful UV rays. Our version also contains whitening and moisturising properties. It’s your first defence against wrinkles and pigmentation!
Dr Low Chai Ling
Having authored two books, and formulated two cosmeceutical skincare lines, the founder and director of The Sloane Clinic, Dr Low Chai Ling is a firm believer that the basics – a sensible diet and exercise regimen – along with the right skincare will keep your skin healthy and glowing.
Most popular facial treatment at The Sloane Clinic: Dream Sculpture
A minimally invasive treatment, it helps combat declining levels of collagen, which occur with age. Sculptra, a biocompatible and biodegradable synthetic material that helps stimulate collagen production is injected into key points of the face. By distributing Sculptra over the vital framework of your face, the Dream Sculpture treatment ensures a firmer, younger looking visage. There may be slight bruising from the injections, but nothing makeup can’t conceal. Expect smooth, supple skin within four to six weeks as the collagen structure is replenished and restored. Depending on your age and the number of treatments undergone, the results can last for about two to three years.
Signature Skincare: Sloane Inc., the clinic’s in house skincare line includes a range of products suitable to various skin types and concerns. Notable among them are the Age Defy, which combines clinical-strength vitamin A and skin-plumping collagen to fade pimple marks, pigment spots and combat fine lines; the DermaBoost Anti-Wrinkle Boost, which promises to smooth wrinkles and lift skin and the Derma Boost Vitamin C, a scoop of which added to your favourite water-based serum will refine and unify skin tone while fighting free radicals.
Most recommended product: The Sloane Inc. Multivitamin Booster contains optimal amounts of vitamins A, C and E in their freshest, most absorbable forms. It is my preferred product to lift, tone and seal in moisture, while protecting skin against pollution and free radical damage.
Top skincare tip: Be gentle with the skin around your eyes. Rubbing your eyes vigorously will result in dark circles and fine lines. Even when taking off your eye makeup, make sure you gently wipe off eyeliner and mascara without stretching the skin.

Dr Sylvia Ramirez
Founder of Cutis Medical Laser Clinics, Dr Ramirez has over 20 years of international experience in aesthetic medicine, disease epidemiology, nephrology and transplantation. She practises research-proven services in the fields of aesthetics, age management medicine and skin treatments.
Most popular facial treatment at Cutis Medical Laser Clinics:
Our most popular medical facials are the Crystal Peel, a skin-rejuvenating treatment formulated with various acids, hydroquinone for lightening freckles, age spots, pregnancy and stretch marks, acne scarring and more; and the brightening Vitality Peel, which improves skin tone, texture and clarity. Our most popular non-medical facial is the Anti-Ageing Skin Rejuvenation treatment, which combines Trilipo – a pain-free, non-invasive solution for skin tightening – and Dr Sylvia’s Ascorbic C Firming Mask. It’s infused with 15 percent pure vitamin C, aloe and gentle multi-fruit acids that dramatically improve and refine the tone and texture of the face and neck.
Signature Skincare: Dr Sylvia’s skincare line has been shown to not only show results on the outer layer of the skin, but also at a deeper level. What’s more, most of the product’s ingredients are light, oil-free and suitable for a tropical climate. Notable are the ELASTIfirm Eye Serum, a potent concoction which strengthens capillaries, reduces puffiness and gives a firmer appearance to the eye area within eight weeks, and the Needles No More with Neodermyl and Voluform, a needle-free collagen and elastin filler which re-energises fibroblasts and triggers the skin to produce more collagen, resulting in a visible reduction of even deep-set wrinkles – clinical studies demonstrated a visible 15 percent reduction in wrinkles in just two weeks!
Most recommended product: According to recent studies, up to 80 percent of the appearance of ageing is from sun exposure! That’s why I always recommend a sunscreen with broad spectrum protection, like our lightweight Oil Free Sun Protection SPF 30, which shields the skin from both UVB and UVA rays.
Top skincare tip: Never underestimate the importance of exercise, a good diet and hydration. Exercising for 30 minutes every day, drinking enough water and getting enough beauty sleep, eating plenty of vegetables and avoiding oily foods will always improve your skin.

Most popular treatment: The Vampire Facial
Our Vampire facial is highly requested, and it has a bit of reputation in Hollywood – it’s the same one that Kim Kardashian swears by! It uses platelet rich plasma from your own blood, containing a high concentration of human growth factor to stimulate new collagen production and fix existing collagen in the skin. The plasma, pushed into the skin by means of micro-needles, also acts a natural plumper, filling in fine lines.
Most recommended treatment: Our Vampire facial, customised with other ingredients for each client. For example, to treat sagging skin, we’ll add in a dose of hyaluronic acid during the session, or a thread-lift. In my opinion, Botox is still the best treatment to prevent the dynamic, more deep-set lines, which come from muscle expression.
Top skincare tip: Arm yourself daily with sun protection, a vitamin C serum and a moisturiser containing hyaluronic acid. You won’t regret it!
