Butcher Box: Australian beef from farm to home!

2nd March 2022 by Dinesh Ajith 2 Min Read

https://expatliving.sg/singapore-butcher-box-good-meat-and-australian-beef/

If the idea of opening your door to a delivery of imported prime cuts of Australian beef and other good meat puts a smile on your face, read on! Opened just a year ago, this Singapore butcher is the culmination of founder Shaun Francis’s long journey in butchery. Shaun was first introduced to this particular culinary art at the age of just 14, in his homeland of Australia. After more than two decades of working in supermarkets, wholesale outlets and mum-and-dad butcheries, Shaun made the move to Singapore where he branched out to supplying restaurants and hotels. Today, his expertise, along with that of a team of chefs, seafood specialists and butchers, helps bring restaurant-quality cuts of Australian meat to your home – by way of Butcher Box.

Australian beef and other good meat delivered!

This Singapore butcher also imports products directly from the farms themselves. They feature many exclusive cuts of Australian beef and other good meat that you’ll only find in restaurants they distribute to. Among the small farms the company works with are King Island Beef, Little Joe Beef, The Bachelor Beef and Blackmore Wagyu Beef. Free-range pork, lamb and veal are also available from producers like White Pyrenees, Gooralie and Red Hill, and there’s a seafood selection from Akaroa King Salmon and New Zealand Wild Caught Seafood.

In addition to offering rare cuts of beef, Butcher Box also specialises in dry-aged beef products, all aged in-house. If you’re after sausages instead, there’s a range of intriguing creations available, like chicken, pumpkin and feta sausages, spicy Spanish chorizo and even a blueberry maple breakfast sausage that’ll be a star in any morning spread. Like the dry-aged beef, all the sausages are made in-house using the team’s own recipes.

A key among their offerings – and, of course, where they take their name from – is the selection of Butcher Boxes. Each curated box contains a selection of premium meat products grouped by themes. Entertaining over the weekend? Order in the Pro BBQ Box or the Entertainer’s Box for a fuss-free party-friendly spread. For impromptu dinners or special treats, the Freezer Filler Box is filled with freezer-friendly cuts. In addition to the wide range of boxes, you can also put together a customised selection for yourself and have it delivered.
