Grow your child’s interest in science with a variety of science holiday camps for kids by Newtonshow. Curious kids can become budding detectives as they use forensic science to investigate a crime scene and solve the crime. Little artists learn new skills as they use different forms of mediums to create arts and crafts at HiArt’s holiday camps. The activities allow young minds to express their thoughts, feelings and ideas as creatively as possible. Within a stress-free environment, children will feel safe to express their thoughts, be inquisitive and creative, and make new friends at the same time. One of the camp’s holiday activities for kids is virtual museum visits. These are curated by the teachers, and lets kids explore museums across Singapore despite COVD-19 restrictions.
The kids will work closely with HiArt’s team of teachers, who are alumni of NAFA and LASALLE College of the Arts to become professional artists and possess more than 10 years of art education. Each week is a stand-alone camp suitable for beginners to advanced learners. Kick start your child’s journey into programming in the year-end holiday coding camps by Coding Lab. Students will learn the basics of coding, which can be applied when learning other programming languages. At the end of each course, students participate in a “hackathon” by creating their own project that they present to the class. They also bring home a certificate of completion!

Nullspace aims to nurture brilliance in students through robotics and coding school holiday activities for kids; each year it trains almost 400 students at its centres.
Available year-end holiday programmes include the following:
- Junior Robotics Programme (ages 6 to 8), an entry to LEGO Robotics. Students explore different project themes such as dinosaurs, vehicles and Star Wars.
- Robotics Certificate Programme (ages 9+), for those keen on participating in the LEGO Robotics competitions. Students cover key programming techniques such as line tracing and the use of touch and ultrasonic sensors. They’ll also build new robot designs and face different robot missions and challenges.
- Junior Game Developer Programme (ages 8 to 11), which allows students without prior coding experience to explore coding their own games using Scratch, a block-based programming language.
- Junior Data Analyst (ages 11+), for students interested in learning the Python language to analyse data.
This year, Nullspace has updated its Robotics Certificate Programme with the latest LEGO SPIKE Prime Platform. There’s also a new Robotics Explorer using LEGO EV3 to build robots with enhanced functionality.
Class sizes are kept small – up to five students – to ensure that everyone receives proper guidance. All Nullspace instructors are registered with Singapore’s Ministry of Education (MOE) to provide robotics coaching in MOE schools and undergo a rigorous in-house training programme to ensure that they have the necessary technical and facilitation skills.

The Artrageous Art Camp by Little Artists involves an immersive experience in fine art. Campers will go on a wonderful foray into painting, sketching, sculpture and 3D projects to bring what exists in their imagination to life through their own hands. They’ll be guided by passionate art educators who have degrees in fine arts or design and hail from 12 countries. The teachers will first give demonstrations across a vast range of project samples from clay sculptures to charcoal sketches, big canvases and more.
During lunch, campers will eat, watch and discuss art movie clips to learn more about major artists, techniques and movements. This gives children the chance to explore visual arts from numerous angles including classical to contemporary art. One of the holiday activities of this camp is art tours. Campers can go behind the scenes into museums, galleries and the studios of practicing artists.
At the end of this art holiday camp for kids, all participants will bring home a certificate and a goodie bag.

From trampoline tricks to climbing, scooting, skating, LEGO Robotics, music and STEAM activities, SuperPark Singapore has plenty to keep your child occupied during their year-end holiday camps. The indoor playground is known for its trampoline and SuperClimb zones. As kids train their balance and learn proper techniques, they build their physical strength, stamina and dexterity. This year, they’ve also introduced new activities to their holiday camps for kids.
In LEGO Robotics, kids will use RoBlocks to build their own SUMO warrior and battle to be the last robot standing. They can also use the LEGO Mindstorms Kit to customise their bot, which they’ll bring to life through coding and programming.
At the EdLab, STEAM activities revolve around setting up different Rube Goldberg Machines, learning about compound machines and identifying the various simple machines within; it’s about exploring the characteristics and applications of simple machines such as the lever, pulley, wheel and axle.
Music lovers, meanwhile, can hone their rhythmic skills in the cajon workshop. Kids will learn how to synergise to create rhythm and groove for personal and social enjoyment.
