The Class of 2025 at the Winstedt School is graduating with the WASC-accredited Winstedt Diploma as part of their bespoke inclusive education. The highly personalised programme comprises integrated therapy, small class sizes and teachers who understand diverse learning needs. Here, four students reflect on their academic and personal growth at this inclusive school in Singapore.
This year, Winstedt celebrates its fourth graduating cohort. Many of the students have been with the school since their early school years. The Winstedt Diploma marks the completion of a four-year inclusive education pathway – Years 10 to 13 – reflecting the academic progress and personal growth that each student has achieved.
The Secondary Programme at Singapore’s Winstedt School is built for students who think and learn differently, in a school where individuality is celebrated. Every child is seen, supported and confident in their learning journey. Students gain confidence, independence and a strong sense of self at this inclusive school in Singapore.
Grounded in the UK EdExcel framework, the school’s curriculum includes English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Creative Arts, Design & Technology, and Career Studies. Students also explore electives, including Outdoor Education, Rock Band, Fashion Design, Culinary Arts and Short Film Production.
The 24-credit Diploma is completed without traditional exams – through coursework, projects and formative assessment. This allows students to demonstrate their learning in meaningful, authentic ways that reflect their strengths.
Graduates go on to universities, colleges and employment. The school says that they leave not just with a WASC-accredited Diploma, but with the resilience, creativity and clarity to define their own future.
