2nd May 2022 by Expat Living 4 Min Read

https://expatliving.sg/wet-markets-in-singapore-19-shopping-spots-for-fresh-food/

There are a number of huge fresh food centres dotted across Singapore, crammed with fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and seafood at fabulous wholesale prices. Sure they can be crowded, and sure they can get a little stinky, but they’re worth it for the cheap, juicy produce.

We’ve listed all the wet markets we can possibly think of below (many of which include tasty hawker stalls), but if you can think of more, give us a shout on Twitter or Facebook. Check out the details, set aside a few hours to explore the stalls and get stuck in. For tips on what to expect when shopping at wet markets for the first time, check out this handy guide by our local food expert.
