#2 ESPA Personalised Massage, $250 (90 minutes)
Located on the fifth floor of Grand Hyatt Singapore, Damai Spa offers a selection of beauty and wellness treatments that incorporate Chinese, Malay, Indian and European culture spa techniques. Spoil yourself with a personalised massage, which includes a detailed consultation where your therapist will determine the most suitable tailored massage for you, choosing from aromatherapy, hot stone, deep muscle and Swedish. First you’re wrapped in a soft robe, then seated in a massage area where your feet are bathed in warm water. After breathing in a range of signature scents from the ESPA range, you get to choose your favourite one for the session ahead! The award-winning treatment is also available as a shorter, 60-minute massage. But, if time is not an issue, while away the rest of the afternoon at the in-house facilities, which includes gorgeous pools and saunas.

Whether you’ve just done an intense workout or you’ve had a stressful work week, the signature deep tissue massage is the perfect treatment for putting you into a blissful mood. Sink into relaxation with slow deep strokes that release tension in the deeper layers of the muscles. Combined with lymphatic drainage, the restorative massage leaves you with a refreshed body and younger, smoother-looking skin. If you liked what your therapist used, you can shop the whole range of products, too. This therapeutic and rejuvenating massage at The Ritz-Carlton Spa uses warm lapis stones, as well as moderate to deep pressure to soothe aching muscles. The session kicks off with you choosing your preferred ESPA massage oil – Soothing or Energising. This is followed by a gentle breathing exercise to relax the mind and body by placing handpicked conch shells next to the ears, with the aim to immerse you in the deep sounds of the sea. After which, the treatment commences with the chosen massage oil combined with massage strokes incorporating warm lapis lazuli stones, which help to alleviate tired muscles, strengthen the neck and enhance mental function.
