Here’s an overview of church services in Singapore for Christmas Eve (including midnight mass and earlier services) and Christmas Day. Most churches in Singapore will be holding traditional Christmas services; while we’ve tried to find as many details as we can (and we’ll be updating the page as more info comes to hand), please check church websites for updates.

Churches in Singapore for Christmas services
St Ignatius Church
The parish has organised a Christmas Market from 4pm to 10pm on 20 December, to celebrate. Expect food, carols and family-friendly activities. Revel in carols before midnight mass on Christmas eve. Check the website for the full schedule as other services are likely to be announced closer to Christmas.
Christmas Eve, Tuesday, 24 December: 4pm, 11pm with carols at 10.30pm
Christmas Day, Wednesday, 25 December: 8am

Church of St Bernadette
24 December: Christmas Eve masses at 9.30pm and 11.30pm in English with carols starting 30 minutes before mass
25 December: Christmas Day masses will be celebrated at 8.30am in Chinese, 10am and 11.45am in English, 2pm in Indonesian
12 Zion Road
Church of the Holy Family
This Catholic Church in the vibrant Katong area on the East Coast seats over 2,000 people. Check the website for times and booking options for midnight mass and other Christmas services.
6 Chapel Road
St George’s Church

An international Anglican Church in leafy Dempsey, St George’s is a popular choice for Christmas services on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day among expats, so arrive early.
24 December: 3pm and 5pm Family service, 10.30pm Holy Communion service, with carols from 10.15pm to 10.30pm
25 December: 10am Holy Communion service
44 Minden Road
St Andrew’s Cathedral
This beautiful cathedral, founded on a site reserved by Sir Stamford Raffles in 1823 for Singapore’s first Anglican Church, has a full festive line-up planned for the lead-up to Christmas. There’s a mini Christmas bazaar from 19 to 21 December of various ministries and social enterprises and performances.
24 December: 10pm
25 December: 8am and 11.30am; 9.30am in Mandarin
11 St Andrew’s Road
Church of the Sacred Heart
One of the oldest parishes in Singapore’s Archdiocese, this Catholic Church across from Fort Canning Park will be joining in with special church services; check their website for updates.
111 Tank Road
Church of St Mary of the Angels
This church in Singapore is named after the original little chapel of St Mary of the Angels in Assisi, the portiuncula or Little Portion, which St Francis helped to rebuild. The complex in Singapore is home to a parish community, a retreat centre and a Friary.
24 December: 6pm (live stream) with Christmas Play at 5.30pm, 9pm, midnight mass with Christmas Cantare at 11pm
25 December: 7.15am in Mandarin; 9am, 11am, 6pm in English
5 Bukit Batok East Avenue 2
Novena Church
The Church of St Alphonsus is a Catholic church that is famous for it Novena prayer devotion, which explains why it’s more commonly known as Novena Church.
24 December: 8pm with carols from 7.15pm to 7.45pm; 11pm with a Christmas play from 10.15pm to 10.45pm
25 December: 8am, 10am, 12nn, 5.30pm
300 Thomson Road
Cathedral of the Good Shepherd
This is the oldest Roman Catholic church in Singapore, built in 1847. It is a gazetted national monument since 1973 and is the seat of the Archbishop of Singapore. Check the church website for more information pertaining to midnight mass and Christmas services.
