From its early beginnings as an epicentre of barge transportation and trade, Robertson Quay has been alive with activity. Today, taking a stroll along the historic wharf, you’ll see a pastel rainbow of shophouses and buzzing cafés. In the evening, spilling out onto the riverside walkway are Robertson Quay restaurants offering alfresco dining in Singapore. Their lights glimmer on the water’s surface. From day to night, this slice of Singapore has lovely scenery – even the occasional otter family swimming past! – as well as an assortment of dining delights. Among the latter is a re-opened restaurant by the riverside, at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel in Robertson Quay. We find out what’s new!

Looking for date-night dining, a casual family gathering or an afternoon happy hour? The Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore has revamped its Riverside Terrace. This venue is an ideal space for alfresco dining in Singapore with a relaxed and intimate setting and the bustling nightlife of the quays a gentle hum away. For more of a retreat, escape to the hotel’s chic new lobby lounge. There, you can unwind with a beverage in hand and live music in the background.
What’s on this Robertson Quay restaurant menu?
The Riverside Terrace kitchen brings together a variety of flavours and twists on favourite dishes. For those craving Asian cuisine, there’s iconic Singapore fare from char kway teow, laksa and satay to wok-fried hokkien mee and crispy seafood noodles.
The Western offerings incorporate ingredients from around the world. For example, you’ll find Angus grain-fed cuts, Australian lamb, Norwegian salmon and Spanish octopus tentacles. Many of these you can watch being prepared by the chef on a Josper grill. There’s also a range of pizza, pasta and soup offerings that elevate the flavours of favourite recipes. Examples include a Hawaiian pizza with tangy marinated chicken and honey pineapple pieces, and a baked lasagna using a rich beef ragout.
If you’ve brought a group or are eager to try a few items on the menu, we suggest opting for one of the two surf-and-turf platters that feature a collection of cuts and dishes.

Ideal for after-work drinks or unwinding throughout the second half of the day, the Riverside Terrace happy hour extends from 12pm to 6pm! On the menu is a selection of drinks, from cocktails, mocktails and beers to whiskeys and wine from Italy, Australia and France.
