Singapore Media Festival 2024

The Singapore Media Festival (SMF) 2024 returns for its 11th edition from 28 November to 8 December, bringing over 100 films from 45 countries and insights from industry giants like Warner Bros, Discovery, Youku and Tencent.

Highlights:

• The Singapore International Film Festival opens with a thriller by acclaimed Singaporean filmmaker Yeo Siew Hua. The festival will honour icons such as Taiwanese actor Lee Kang-sheng and introduces Rebecca Lim as its first ever festival ambassador.
• The Singapore Comic Con offers a mix of Western and Asian pop culture with exclusive fan experiences powered by 3D, AR and AI technology. Guests include illustrator Yuko Shimizu and cosplayer Rurusama, alongside the debut of four new Made-with-Singapore games.
• Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the Asia TV Forum brings together industry leaders from Warner Bros., TVING, Youku, Tencent and IMAX for industry discussions. It will also feature six in-development pitches focusing on Asian-centric storytelling and business innovation.
• The Nas Summit Asia will be held over two days and host workshops and networking sessions for content creators, featuring personalities like Jaspers Lai and Smile With Jeryl.
• Be the first to access collectible items like Mighty Jaxx’s Luffy XXRAY One Piece Luffy Wanted Series Gold Edition as well as the limited edition Life Saving Figurines by the Singapore Civil Defence Force and Accenture.

SMF 2024 anticipates over 55,000 media professionals, leaders and fans in attendance as it continues fostering significant partnerships and position Singapore as a leading media hub.
