The Floral Atelier introduces the Master Florist in Residence programme

Earlier this year, The Floral Atelier launched its first Master Florist in Residence programme (MFIR) to bring globally renowned floral and creative artisans to Singapore on monthly rotation to share their knowledge and skills through inspiring workshops.

Lelian Chew, founder of The Floral Atelier, and her team work closely with master florists and artisans to curate immersive workshops and in-depth masterclasses that aim to inform, teach and engage. There’s something for every floral enthusiast at MFIR, from beginners to professionals, with the programme taking place at the beautiful headquarters located at Delta House. Whether you’re after an introduction to the artistry of floristry and calligraphy, or you want to deepen your skill set and professional capabilities, there’s a workshop perfect for you!

Flower arranging, calligraphy and table setting

The next MFIR will be running from 3 June to 8 June 2023. The Masters in Residence are the seasoned and celebrated floral designer Heather Siu and calligraphy artisan Veronica Halim. Under their expert guidance, beginners will learn the basics of flower arranging and calligraphy, and experienced artisans will have a chance to upgrade their technical skills.

All materials including premium flowers and foliage, tools, vases, decorative elements, calligraphy kits, snacks and light refreshments are provided. All you need to do is bring your creativity. One of the many benefits is that you will take home your creations to enjoy with family and friends.
