According to the College, the facilities were designed to foster an engaging and dynamic learning environment. The facilities complement the forward-thinking curriculum in nurturing curiosity and encouraging innovation. They will support pupils as they prepare for their IGCSE in Singapore and grow into well-rounded individuals who can positively impact the world.
Hear from a Year 9 pupil about the changes at this British school …
“I’m excited about all the new activities and different ways we can learn across various subjects for IGCSE in Singapore. We get to interact with different teachers and still enjoy fun moments with other year groups during breaks, lunch and PE lessons. I’m also excited about the new facilities, like the Dining Hall and Common Room. I’m just really excited about all the new changes at our British school!”
Early preparation for Primary 1
The Preparatory Course for Primary (PCP) is a bespoke initiative aimed at Year 1 to Year 6 pupils. This intensive and rigorous English Language programme will help pupils in their preparation for Primary 1. It equips pupils with the English proficiency necessary to make a successful transition to the mainstream classes in Primary School. The British school says that it creates a strong foundation for pupils’ academic journey while fostering a love for learning from the very start.
Hear from a Year 4 pupil…
“PCP is fun, and my friends are really kind. It has helped my English a lot – I write more with the teachers’ help and now I can even help my friends too. At home, I practice using IXL on my smartphone and CF on my tablet. My favourite subjects are Science, Humanities and Maths. In Humanities, I learned about Nepal, where many people live in the countryside and are poor, so we share food and money with them. In Science, I loved learning about vertebrates and insects. My favourite days are Tuesday and Thursday because I get to do Hema beads and skating for my CCA – so much fun!”
