Celebrate this preschool’s grand opening in Singapore with a line-up of parent workshops at their new campuses in Hillview and Ubi.
In January, Cosmic Education Group opened Nest Preschool in Hillview. This follows the first campus in Ubi, which opened last year, with two more campuses planned to open in Bishan and Bidadari this April and July respectively. Upcoming grand opening celebrations includes a guided tour of the campus plus parent workshops on the school’s Montessori approach. We look at what’s in store for students and parents!
Cosmic Education Group expands in Singapore
Nest Preschool in Singapore was launched by Cosmic Education Group (CEG) to provide high quality, child-centred learning experiences. The four campuses here join a network of 27 preschool and primary school campuses across Hong Kong, Singapore, Bali and key cities in Mainland China.
The curriculum at Nest Preschool utilises a Montessori-based approach in a nurturing environment. There’s a strong emphasis on hands-on learning, self-directed exploration and the development of essential life skills.
The learning environments across all the campuses feature thoughtfully arranged spaces. Children have access to interactive materials that cater to the developmental needs of different ages. This way, they’re invited to explore and nurture their growing independence.
Nest Preschool believes this approach helps enhance the Primary readiness of preschool children in Singapore. At the same time, it also equips children with the adaptability and capabilities needed to excel in the Singapore primary school system and beyond.
Four key areas at Nest Preschool
Schools by Cosmic Education Group, including Nest Preschool, focus on four key areas.
#1 Structured and customised curriculum. The curriculum is scientifically sequenced to nurture a child’s independence at each stage of development. Each child’s path through the curriculum is driven by their interests and choices. This ensures a deep engagement throughout.
#2 True dual-language learning. A full-time, full-curriculum approach to dual-language development is used at Nest Preschool. This enables children to immerse in English and Mandarin languages and offers them choices to learn in either context. This approach goes beyond the bilingual structure of many schools.
#3 Exceptional experience for children and parents. According to Nest Preschool, not only do children experience an unmatched educational programme with them, but parents are provided timely insights into daily activities and the progression through the curriculum. This enables busy parents to be fully engaged in their child’s education.
#4 100% of fees go toward school tuition. Other than tuition fees, there are no extra costs such as capital levies, material fees, debentures and registration fees.
Access to a close-knit international network
The intimate environment of Nest Preschool allows families to get to know each other. At the same time, they have access to the infrastructure and quality standards from being part of the larger Cosmic Education School network. This includes free events for families, camps across Asia and smooth transfers in the event of relocation.
