It’s not just for shopping – there’s plenty of good food in Orchard too. Just a stone’s throw from the glitzy malls is Mosella, Pan Pacific Orchard’s hot-ticket modern Mediterranean eatery with a stunning menu. From a daily happy hour to lunch and dinner set menus, stellar à la carte dishes and a champagne weekend buffet brunch, this Orchard restaurant has unveiled four new dining experiences to try. The only question is: which one to book first?
Where to go for good food in Orchard
#1 A weekend Champagne Buffet Brunch in Orchard (hello, Saturday babysitting!)
Whatever you do, make sure you show up hungry for this brunch! Take a seat in the forest terrace with floor-to-ceiling windows, vibrant hues of burnt orange and jewel-toned greens, and live jazz music. While away the afternoon sipping on Aubert & Fils Champagne and discover some truly good food in Orchard as signature appetisers are served tableside, from Amelie Fine de Claire oysters N3 and 48-month aged Iberico to hamachi tiradito, a dish of Japanese yellowtail.
For mains, it’s an all-you-can-eat affair with a Mediterranean spin, with plenty to satisfy any craving. Pile your plate with salads, antipasti and treats, such as foie gras terrine, truffle mortadella and beef bresaola, before moving on to the live culinary counters for dishes like baked sea branzino, homemade pasta prepared to order, and freshly fired cuts from the Josper grill and oven in the open kitchen. Brunch favourite Eggs Benedict comes topped with grilled Atlantic lobster here – we’d wash ours down with a Laplandia Espresso Vodka shot ($10) or two.
Pastry chef Eunice Low has worked her magic with an impressive selection of desserts, patisseries and chocolates. The Cacao is a showstopper – it’s made from 70% Guanaja dark chocolate mousse and served to you at your table with a blood orange waffle flambeed with Cointreau.
The Mosella Champagne Buffet Brunch is available from 12pm to 3pm. It’s $108 per adult and $54 per child aged 8 to 12 years old, including soft drinks, coffee and tea. Top up $98 per person for a free-flow Champagne package, along with rosé prosecco, red and white wines, as well as a brunch selection of cocktails including bloody mary, passionfruit martini and more.
#2 An all-new (and extra-long!) happy hour
Socialise in true Mediterranean style with a daily happy hour from 3pm to 6pm for food (and until 8pm for drinks!). Sit on the sun-soaked outdoor terrace or in the restaurant’s chic interior, sip on an Aperol Spritz or Passionfruit Martini and nibble on morsels perfect for sharing, such as tomato bruschetta, baked camembert with fresh rosemary, Manchego and truffle fries, and sourdough beef pastrami and cheese sandwiches. You’ll feel like you’re in a bustling plaza on the Med’!
#3 Ooh la la! New à la carte menu additions at Mosella
Whether you’re wanting a romantic dinner, a sophisticated business lunch, or a memorable meal with friends, executive chef Pedro Samper’s new à la carte offerings has upped the ante with a glow-up of the menu. From crudo and ceviche to porterhouse and premium cuts finished over charcoal fire, the focus is on the tradition of shared meals. Tuck into dishes such as Spanish paella, Hokkaido scallop carpaccio, spanner crab croquettes and king crab spaghetti. There’s also an ever-changing wine menu at Mosella and an innovative cocktail programme. The latter includes “A Tom Collins Variation”, a tweak on the original that’ll make you forget about returning to your shopping spree!
#4 Sassy set menus for Mediterranean feasting
Worked up an appetite while shopping? You don’t have to break the bank to enjoy good food in Orchard. The three-course lunch and dinner set menus is a fabulous option ($48 per person for lunch and $88 per person for dinner). For lunch, expect a selection of colourful dishes such as the burrata and heirloom tomatoes, alongside mains such as barramundi, beef tenderloin, and aglio e olio mushroom spaghetti. Dessert is the signature burnt basque cheesecake, a tribute to Chef Pedro’s hometown of San Sebastian. At dinner, the options are further expanded. Favourites include Hokkaido scallop carpaccio and beef tenderloin carpaccio for starters, followed by beef tenderloin and cochinillo asado for mains.
