Deusaderm collagen fillers facial treatments
Where to get it done: Cienna Aesthetics Medical Clinic
Tired of tired-looking eyes? Cienna Aesthetics Medical Clinic, founded by Dr YB Choong, has a special focus on non-surgical eye aesthetic treatments. “We prioritise safety and results for our patients by only using Singapore HAS-approved products,” he says.
Deusaderm is a common treatment available at this aesthetics and skin clinic. It’s an injectable collagen gel extracted from SPF porcine skin and purified using Sunmax Biotech’s patented purification platform. Containing a high DNA profile similar to human collagen, it can effectively restore lost collagen in the dermis, providing a natural and youthful appearance.
Deusaderm collagen fillers are injected into the skin to add volume, smooth wrinkles and improve the overall appearance of the eye. The collagen in the fillers works by stimulating the body’s natural production of collagen. This helps to restore the skin’s elasticity and also reduce the signs of ageing. Over time, the body slowly absorbs the collagen fillers, leaving behind natural-looking and long-lasting results.
Dr Choong explains that Deusaderm is commonly used to treat periorbital conditions such as crow’s feet, tear trough deformity, eyebags, hollowness around the eyes, fine lines and wrinkles around the eye, and volume loss at the lower eye area. It’s effective particularly for dark eye circles and skin laxity. That’s because it degrades into various peptides that inhibit the activity of the enzyme tyrosinase. This results in a brighter and smoother skin tone. It also helps the skin to produce more collagen, resulting in improved skin laxity.

Secret Duo non-surgical facial treatment
Where to get it done: Cutis Medical Laser Clinics
If you’re after radiant, youthful skin or improvement to scars, wrinkles, dullness, skin laxity or other visible signs of ageing, the Secret Duo facial treatment in Singapore could be for you. This innovative device combines the benefit of radiofrequency (RF) microneedling and the 1540 erbium glass laser treatment. The two non-ablative treatments work in tandem underneath your skin’s surface without damaging the epidermis.
How exactly does it work? Radiofrequency microneedling delivers controlled radiofrequency heat energy into the deeper layers of the skin. This creates micro-injuries that trigger the body’s healing response and stimulate collagen production. The erbium glass laser, meanwhile, causes thermal injury within the dermis (while leaving the epidermis intact). This helps with the removal of damaged skin tissue as well as inducing collagen remodelling.
One of the great things about this facial treatment in Singapore is that it’s customisable. The radiofrequency microneedling and laser technologies can be used individually or together, allowing for the treatment to be tailored to your skin type and needs. Plus, the non-ablative fractional resurfacing technique is gentler on the skin. That means less downtime!
You may start seeing results within a few weeks. Your skin will also continue to improve for months after your last session. The team at aesthetic and skin clinic Cutis Medical Laser Clinics recommends three to five treatments spaced a month apart for optimal results. Get in touch to learn more or book a consultation.

Plinest skin rejuvenation facial treatment
Where to get it done: Angeline Yong Dermatology
The unique Plinest injectable skin rejuvenation and regeneration treatment available at skin clinic Angeline Yong Dermatology harnesses the tissue-repairing and anti-inflammatory properties of pure polynucleotides (PN). This is a natural-origin substance extracted from Italian trout fish obtained through a 10-step patented process.
According to Dr Angeline Yong, these polynucleotides are biocompatible with human DNA. This makes the treatment especially suitable for repairing damaged skin caused by sun exposure, free radicals and smoking. Moreover, it can effectively address various skin issues such as enlarged pores, oily or dry skin, wrinkles, acne scars and textural irregularities, whether resulting from hormonal changes or signs of ageing.
At this skin clinic, you’ll find both Plinest and Plinest Fast injectables for addressing different needs. Dr Yong explains that Plinest Fast, in particular, is designed for the periorbital regions (the tissues surrounding the orbit of the eye). These are some of the first areas of the face to show signs of ageing, as well as issues like periorbital dark eye circles or vascular congestion. They are also difficult to treat. The Plinest Fast treatment is a good facial treatment in Singapore for sensitive areas such as around the eyes without the risk of over-volumisation or the “Tyndall effect” that some fillers may cause. For optimal results, Dr Yong recommends three sessions spaced three to four weeks apart, followed by maintenance every three to six months.
For an extra boost of collagen stimulation and deep hydration? You can combine Plinest with hyaluronic acid injectables like skin boosters, or treatments like botox, chemical peels, dermal fillers, microneedling and laser therapy.

The treatment: HIFU Ultraformer MPT facial treatment
Where to get it done: Evoque Medical Aesthetics
At Evoque Medical Aesthetics at Dhoby Ghaut, you will find a HIFU treatment that uses the new Ultraformer MPT device. A recent addition to the Ultraformer series of premium HIFU treatment devices, the Ultraformer MPT utilises MMFU (micro- and macro-focused ultrasound) technology to deliver focused ultrasound energy at various depths under the skin. In fact, the device can rejuvenate three critical levels of the skin’s infrastructure, tailored to your skin needs. For example, the normal mode works great for lifting and tightening the skin. Meanwhile, the micro-pulsed mode is effective for collagen regeneration and contouring.
As such, the HIFU Ultraformer MPT works especially well for face lifting, firming, contouring and tightening. That is due to its de-bulking and fat-melting effect. Besides a variety of problem areas such as mid-face sagging, wrinkles, jowls, laugh lines, droopy eyebrows or eyelids and double chin, it can also be used for body contouring of the abdomen, arms and thighs.
HIFU Ultraformer MPT sessions at Evoque also include the Ultra Booster treatment. It uses the Ultra Booster handpiece with a highly nourishing serum from Korean brand Klardie to achieve skin brightening and whitening – something that most other types of HIFU treatments cannot do, the clinic’s founder and medical director Dr Sanjay Ganhasan tells us.
You can expect to see some immediate results, which will continue to improve over the following two to three months. Results typically last for half a year to a year, with a maintenance session every six to 12 months.
