$15Understanding your health tests shouldn’t feel confusing or overwhelming. This talk is designed for women of all ages who want to better understand the health screenings they need at different stages of life – and what their blood test results actually reveal about what’s happening inside their bodies.
Learn about key health tests including thyroid function, cancer screening markers, hormones, cholesterol, blood sugar and inflammation, and how these results relate to energy levels, weight, mood and long-term health. The session will also explore how blood results change during perimenopause and menopause, and how they can guide conversations around menopause care and hormone replacement therapy (HRT).

Cancer Screenings
- Colorectal Cancer: Screening guidelines and the importance of early detection
- Cervical Cancer: Pap smears, HPV testing, and timing for different age groups
- Breast Cancer: Mammograms and risk factors to consider
Menopause-Related Screenings
- DEXA Scans: Monitoring bone density and osteoporosis risk
- Pelvic Ultrasound: When and why it’s recommended
- Hormone Testing: Understanding hormone levels and their impact on symptoms like hot flashes, mood changes, and weight shifts
General Health Screenings
- Cardiovascular Health: Cholesterol, lipoprotein A, and blood pressure
- Blood Sugar: HbA1c for diabetes risk assessment
- Vitamin D: Importance for bone and immune health

The Speakers
Dr Hina Kadwani
Dr Hina Kadwani graduated from Imperial College London UK in 2011 with an MBBS and Intercalated BSc in Management with Health Management. Her initial clinical training was in general hospital medicine in London, and she gained her Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2013. Dr Kadwani then decided on a career in General Practice and started her training in London in 2015, achieving her Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in 2018. After completing her speciality training, Dr Kadwani worked as a GP in a busy part of North London, working both in a practice and doing Out of Hours (OOH) triage work. She held additional roles in teaching medical students from University College London both in practice and on-campus teaching workshops, as well as a management GP role involved in quality improvement projects. She also completed her Diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Health (DFSRH) and contraceptive implant training.
Dr Kadwani is also an accredited Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) certificate issuer.
Dr Judy Goh
Dr Judy Goh is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She completed both a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery as well as a Bachelor of Science in Neurosciences at the University of Western Australia. Dr Goh has obtained the Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine (Skin Cancer College Australasia), FPAA Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health and is an AMA Youth Friendly Doctor. She is accredited for minor procedures including the contraceptive implanon insertion and removal and skin cancer excisions and biopsies. She has a special interest in Mental health and has trained and worked in various mental health units across Western Australia.
Her special interests include: Women’s Health (Contraception, Family Planning, Menopause and Sexual Health) Mental Health Dermatology (Skin Cancer and Eczema) Paediatrics Chronic Disease Management.
Dr Angel Jung
Dr Angel Jung graduated from the University of Manchester, UK, and began her medical career in the NHS before returning to Singapore in 2015. Since then, she has gained extensive experience working in various public hospitals and polyclinics, before transitioning to private practice as a General Practitioner.She is an accredited Family Physician with the College of Family Physicians and holds a Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine from National University of Singapore. Dr Angel believes in the importance of preventive healthcare and empowering patients to take charge of their well-being. She is passionate about building long-term relationships with her patients and providing holistic care for individuals and families across all stages of life.
