Blindfolded: Reimagining the great Indian Epic Mahabharata
28 February @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

In an age where conflict seems relentless, this production revisits the ancient epic Mahabharata to uncover timeless lessons and the consequences of individual choices.
Blindfolded reimagines the epic through Queen Gandhari’s “eyes”, as she confronts her past and the moral failures that led to the Kuru dynasty’s downfall. Her conscience, taking on multiple “personas”, tries to take her on an inward journey toward truth and realization.
As war gives way to silence, Gandhari and Kunti survey the blood-soaked battlefield, where Krishna’s words echo – envy, hatred, and blind allegiance lead only to ruin.
The final scene is a poignant denunciation of war, a meditation on conscience, and a call to awaken from ego and vengeance. A lesson as urgent today as it was centuries ago.
Blindfolded urges the audience to confront their own blindness and choose a path of truth and righteousness.
